Jocelyn's 1st Birthday!

Time has just flown by! How can this baby girl be 1 already?! I don't know, but she is! haha. And she is hilarious. She had  her party at a little water park and all the kids had a great time. Except Sawyer, he did not like that water! lol. So his papa took him for a ride around in the stroller while the kids played :]
These pictures are so funny and isn't Jocelyn just adorable?!

Laynie's Baptism!

Our niece, Laynie is a gorgeous little girl! She always makes us laugh with her silly jokes and fun sense of humor. She is a great example and we are so proud of her for making such a big decision to be baptized. She had a glow about her and I know she has a beautiful and strong spirit. I can't believe how fast the past 8 years have gone by.
My mom made her dress and I LOVED it! It was so pretty and looked like the perfect dress for Laynie. I felt so blessed to be a part of her day and to be able to take a picture that will hold this memory for her forever. We love you Laynie!

A day at Becky and Jay's :D

We always have a blast with Becky and Jay! We couldn't ask for two better people to have as friends. Becky holds a special place in my heart. She came into my life when I was young, stupid, and needed someone I could trust and who could help me see a little clearer. She was the person I could go to because she's the kind of friend who will listen without judgment and set me straight without giving me the same old lecture I knew others would give me. I just love her and I'm glad she married an awesome guy! Austin and I always look forward to our dates with them. We spent a Saturday at their house recently and it was so fun! They took us out on a ride and Sawyer loved it. He even took a little nap on our way to see a cool cave! Later, we went out again so Austin and Jay could do some spotlighting for critters to shoot. I had no idea Austin was such a good shot. But he and Jay were really good :D

Playing Catch up for the past 2 months!

I haven't been very good at keeping up with this blog, these past couple months have been busy! Between family, friends, and work, we always have something going on. But we have had a lot of fun!

We love visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa Wilkey :D They are some of the most loving and thoughtful people I know and we love them so dearly! I always look forward to the stories and laughs we share. It is so sweet to see how much they love Sawyer, and how much Sawyer loves them right back!

Next came our Anniversary <3 Happy 2 Year Anniversary to us! We had such a great day! We got to spend most of the day relaxing and enjoying our son, Sawyer. And then he went to Grandma and Grandpa's house while we went out to eat. We went to Texas de Brazil, which is this amazing Brazilian steak house. Everything was delicious, especially those yummy fried bananas! I ate way too many of those. It was a great little date night.
I love being able to look back and remember how beautiful our wedding day was.. especially in the Temple. Nothing beats that feeling of knowing you are exactly where you are supposed to be, doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing.
At the time it felt like it was us against (a lot of) the world. The experiences that we shared together have created such a strong love, devotion, and structure in our marriage. And now we have those same qualities as a little family.

A week later was Mothers Day! Being a wife and a mom has been my biggest blessing in life. I have never felt so much love. My family is my world and everything I do is for them. Being a mom is hard, exhausting, and sometimes dirty but I wouldn't give it up for ANYTHING! It's what I was always meant to do.
The day was pretty good too! We went to my brothers house and all the guys made the dinner. They did a good job, too.

My perfect little baby!

My niece, Annalise, is such a beautiful and fun little girl!

Austin and his mini me!! haha

Then it was my 22nd Birthday!! I love birthdays and I used to be the biggest brat you could imagine when it was MY day. haha. But my how things change.. now it wasn't so much about the party or the presents. It was just the little things that mattered, like cuddling my hubby and my baby! But that doesn't mean I didn't get surprised with some of my favorite things!
First, my family and I went to Red Robin, YUM! Then Austin surprised me with an amazing lemon & raspberry cake from Freids Bakery, which included a free slice of Red Velvet because we went in on my B-Day. And my mom surprised me with a raspberry champagne cupcake from The Cupcakery. My day was filled with cake, cake, and more CAKE! haha. That's why I just decided to start my Insanity workouts again.
The cakes weren't the last of the surprises, when I got home I also had 2 dozen red roses waiting for me :D I seriously felt like a princess.

In the mix of all these things, my sister, Amanda, was moving. So Sawyer and I took a day to go help out :]
On our way out the door, he just looked so cute! I couldn't help but snap a few pics.

Look at those eyelashes!!!
Sawyer decided to help his Aunt Amanda get her closet organized, but instead he just got a little lost in all the madness!

By the end of the day, our little guy was ready to relax and snuggle his daddy <3

And it wasn't long until he was passed out!
