Still don't have a computer and don't know when I'll get one especially because we are enclosing our carport into a garage and that kind of money doesn't grow on trees. Rockin' R Ranch!
Maggie had her 1st official field trip to Rockin R Ranch today. She was so sad that she didn't have a cowgirl hat and boots but she wore a western"ish" shirt and had her hair in braids. They did some really cute little activities and she had a lot of fun!

This is her little class, sorry about the blurry spot, I had something on the lens.

Coming out of the indian tp

She tried to lasso her rope but coudn't quite get it. She was so sad about it too so I told her to just watch the other kids.

Pumpin some water

I don't know what she was doing with her pose, but those girls are her friends Natalie and Brooke

They were a little hesitant going into the "cave" as they called it.

Just call her "little squaw"

Happy Meal Toys gone bad

Since when does a 17 year old girl A: buy a happy meal at McDonald's and B: play with the toys that come in the meal or at all for that matter? I was disapointed today when I opened Maggies happy meal toy that was some kind of barbi or "bratz" doll thing to find that she was dressed like a hoochie. What the heck happened to my little ponie or regular old barbies and what not? Do the toy makers think that little teenage hoochie mama's are the ones playing with these toys? I think not, it's little 3-9 year old girls and that was such a dumb toy. Sorry I'm venting but give me a break. I 'm just glad Maggie is still young enough that she doesn't know what dressing immodestly is yet and she was just stoked that this toy was on roller skates!

Oh Boy........
So as I was folding clothes today, Maggie and Lucas were being so loud and hyper so I sent them off to play. I thought to myself "how nice that they are being so quiet!" Well, before I got in the shower I thought I should check on them since the door was shut and this is what I come to find.....both were naked and Maggie had put baby powder all over both of them and the floor!!! I was laughing too hard to get mad so I snapped some shots.

I think this is what some people call "antiquing" (don't know if I spelled it right)

He looked like an albino and I 'm so glad he somehow didn't get it in his eyes

Maggie's hair wasn't so bad

At least his room smells powder fresh!

Just for fun...
I know I havn't posted in a while, I've been kind of lazy. I was playing with my camera and figured out a new setting that I love and so I just sat in the living room and snapped some shots of Maggie and Lucas playing together. I love when they get along so good and have fun. This post isn't anything great but I thought I'd share what's been going on in our house....not a whole lot.

I love when he goes and just sits down to look at a book.

Too bad he loves Maggie's PINK chair with a PRINCESS on it...I should probably get him a boy one.

I just happened to catch him running with this look on his face.....hilarious

Crazy kids.....you gotta love em'!

It's always nice to see your children show love and kindess to eachother. The other day Maggie had some jello and Lucas went over and sat on the floor wanting a bite and she shared it with him. It was so cute so I had to take some pics. It's kind of funny, whenever Lucas wants a drink or whatever, he will go sit on the floor in the kitchen and wait. I don't know where he got that from!

A few minutes later Lucas escaped under the table and Maggie was so worried because she wanted to give him another bite!

I got this from Katie Petersons blog and since I'm blogging on Sunday, what a better post than this. It gives you a different light on the person I really am! Don't be a hater.
1. Where would you say your testimony is the strongest? Knowing that the church is true and that Jesus Christ has been resurected and knows and loves each of us.
2. What do you struggle with the most (church related)? Getting into the good habits of reading scriptures everyday and family home evening. It's easy to look over when your kids are so small.
3. Do you have your food storage? Yes but not as much as I should have. I actually use my food storage all the time. I try to order some each month.
4. Do you have a favorite scripture? What is it? My all time favorite is Alma 37: 36-37. It says it all. If you are lost in the craziness of life, this scripture brings everything back to what we should be focusing on and doing. I'll leave this quote on here which is from Katie's blog because it's a great one with good insight.
The Spirit "quickens all the intellectual faculties, increases, enlarges, expands, and purifies all the natural passions and affections, and adapts them, by the gift of wisdom, to their lawful use. It inspires, develops, cultivates, and matures all the fine-toned sympathies, joys, tastes, kindred feelings, and affections of our nature. It inspires virtue, kindness, goodness, tenderness, gentleness, and charity. It develops beauty of person, form, and features. It tends to health, vigor, animation, and social feeling. It invigorates all the faculties of the physical and intellectual man. It strengthens and gives tone to the nerves. In short, it is, as it were, marrow to the bone, joy to the heart, light to the eyes, music to the ears, and life to the whole being." --Parley P Pratt

5. What is your favorite Church hymn? If You Could Hie to Kolob
6. Do you have Any Sunday Traditions? Enjoying the morning with my kids and hubby with the quiet of no tv and eating with family and baking a yummy treat!
7. Do you have a Patriarchal Blessing? Yes and I should probably read it since I haven't read it in a while.
8. Do you believe in angels? Yes. I think we all have angels with us spiritually and physically.
9. Do you like the ward you're in? Ya, it's the ward I grew up in but we have made some really great friends which I'm grateful for and my mom and dad are in it.
10. What callings have you had? Primary, Young Womens, Activity Day Leader
11. What calling do you want? I would love to work with the Young Women or Relief Society
12. What calling do you hold now? Activity Day Leader with the 8-9 yr old girls. It's very fun and pretty easy. I love all the women I work with.
13. Who out of your friends do you get spiritually lifted from? Since highschool Katie has always been my spiritual giant. She has the strongest testimony and loves the Lord. I have and still do look up to her for fun times, a good laugh and as an example of what's right. Love you girl!
14. Personally what do you need to work on with the church? Being more aware of the service that needs to be done around me. Whether it be for a neighbor, friend, family member or ward member. Service is so important and it makes you feel so good to help others.
15. Were you married/sealed in a temple... if so, which one? Ya buddy, the Mesa Arizona Temple on December 20, 2002!
16. Do you have a favorite temple? I can only say I have a favorite of the ones I've actually been in persay so it would have to be the Nauvoo Temple. I had the opportunity to go there 6 months after I was married and it was the most beautiful temple! I would love to go to the Washington DC Temple someday, Russell said it's pretty awesome.

Welcome Baby Kai!!!
My older brother Aaron and his beautiful wife Heidi welcomed their 4th child on Wednesday. He is the 14th grandchild for the Buckmister side and welcomed by lots of loving siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins....oh ya, and of course parents and grandparents. Little FYI, Heidi is like 5' 2" and this baby was 8lbs. 9oz and 21 and a half inches long!!! That's huge for this poor girl, but she did very well with the delivery. His name is Kai James Buckmister. Kai means ocean or water in Japanese which my sister-in-law is half japenese. He is so dang cute and handsome and he has the biggest hands and feet which he gets from my brother who is 6' 8"!

Proud aunt and uncle....it makes me a little baby hungry.....

Proud papa who I think Kai looks just like

I tried to catch a shot with his eyes open

Aaron and their used to be youngest, Emi

Big brother McKay who is so excited to have a brother

Big sister Aki....sorry about the red eyes

He is so sweet! We are so excited!
