Crosby at 3 weeks

Crosby turned 3 weeks yesterday.  We are settling into somewhat of a routine, at least where I feel like things are a little more predictable at this point.  Crosby eats about every 3 to 3 1/2 hours, which goes by fast when one feeding takes around an hour with the diaper change and everything.  The boys are still so in love with him and kiss on him numerous times a day!  We went to the doctor on Monday and he weighs 9 lb. 2.5 oz now and has grown an inch to 21 inches!  He is doing well!

Crosby at 2 weeks

Crosby is two weeks and two days old and we can't believe it!  He is a really good baby.  He eats about every 3 to 3 1/2 hours or so and does that at night too.  He likes to be held before dozing off and loves to be swaddled in a blanket.  He sometimes wants to suck on his passy before falling to sleep or walked around a little.  He loves the bath and never cries when he takes one.  Today, his umbilical cord fell off so he will get to have a real bath!  Should be fun.  Callahan calls him "my baby"  all the time and checks on "my baby" all the time.  Carson loves to hold him and still thinks he is the cutest thing he ever saw.  They are both excellent big brothers and get so excited to see him and have "floor time" with him.  Here are some pictures of him we took on Wednesday - his actual two week old birthday!

This made me cry

Carson wrote me this letter last night.  It made me so proud of my boy.  Reminded me of what a big heart he has.  What a blessing children are - God is good!
Translation:

Dear mom,

  I love you forever.  You are the sweetest mom ever.  You had a baby - he's adorable!  I can't believe you had no girls in your tummy.  My family is the best family!

Coming Home with Crosby

:We came home from the hospital on Saturday.  When we got home, some friends from church put a stork in our yard announcing Crosby's birth!  They own a little business doing this, and it was a nice surprise driving up to it.We had a big welcoming party when we got home.  Wade's parents, brother and sister -in-law, and our two nieces as well as my parents.  Here is everyone getting a good look at our new little guy.Carson and Callahan were so excited!Greg and Jaren's baby, Olivia, born two months ago - and Crosby at 4 days old.  Poor Crosby, i had forgotten to put the little head comfort thing on the car seat like Olivia has to help hold up his head - don't worry, it's on there now!My mom holding Crosby for the first time!  Nana and Pappy with all their grand kids.

He's here!

Crosby Michael Ramer was born on Wednesday, June 2 at 12:48 by c-section.  He weighed 8 lb even and is 20 inches long.  He has TONS of dark hair!!  We weren't expecting that!  Completely different than Carson or Callahan at birth!  He is a joy and we thank God for the miracle of life and his favor on our family.  Callahan was sad the first day since we couldn' take him home that day - he cried and didn't understand why not.  He also didn't like that he couldn't take him to the vending machine too!  But, we are going home today from the hospital, so the boys are excited!  I tried to post more pictures on here, but the hospital WiFi is a little funny about too many uploads.  So anyway, more to come later!My doctor, Dr. Smith - who delivered both Callahan and Crosby.  She is an angel!
