Callahan's school had a "vocabulary costume parade" on Halloween.  It was a really cute idea where instead of wearing their halloween costumes, the children had to pick any vocabulary word and use homemade items to dress up like the word.  I was very worried about it at first because I am NOT creative at all!!  I happened to be walking through the dollar store the weekend before and saw some bandaids and the word just hit me....INJURED!  So I bought band aids, gauze, and first aid wrap and stuck it on Callahan and wala, we had a costume!!!

This Halloween, we had a hot dog, a dog, and a banana.  We went trick or treating with our friends, Sam and Angie, who we go with every year.  Carson's friends, James, Hayden, and Caleb, and their families came as well.  Also, my friend Lindsey from work, who is a single mom and her son, Scout.  We had a great time with excellent weather!!
