Sports Done
Reagan had her last junior basketball game on Saturday and they won again. That made them 3 and 3. They got so much better at the end. The problem is about the time they get better it's over and then next year it's like reteaching them everything. Now she wants me to find a summer league for her to play in, instead of basketball camp. She also want to practice at least twice a week. Reese is just happy he doesn't have to see anymore basketball. I can't believe school is almost out. I have no idea what we are going to do over the summer.

We Won
Yea!!! Reagan's team finally won a basketball game and not only one but two. They won on Saturday and on Monday. Reagan played like a wild woman. She stole the ball every chance she got and dribbled down the court. It was great. She doesn't want the season to end and we have been looking at basketball camps at Texas Tech. She really likes the Lady Raiders and they help with the camps. She hopes that she will get to meet her favorite player, Jordon Murphree. Reese just wants basketball to end. He finally finished his season and now he has to watch Reagan play. He says that he is sick of basketball.

Poor Kids
We had another of Reagan's basketball games last night and again they lost. They all try so hard and I lost count of the times they shot the ball. I wish at least one of them had gone in. Meanwhile Reese was in a bad mood because he had to go to the game. He came up with several excuses why he couldn't go but it did not trump supporting his sister. He thinks that her going to all of his stuff doesn't count for anything. He sat in the corner of the gym and pouted through the whole game. Even Nana couldn't bring him out of his funk and she usually can do anything. This morning he came up to me and said "Hug". I gave him a hug and he said that he was sorry for being in a bad mood and that he felt better. Of course he apologized to me and not his father, who he was the ugliest to. Reagan on the other hand let me put her hair in a pony tail for the game and I really suck at it. I have thin hair and she has thick hair, halfway through the game her hair was starting to fall. It started out well, at least I got it to lay down when I put it up, that's better than it looked last week. Reagan asked me to get the hair detangler that Nana has for next time. She absolutely refused to use what we already had in the cabinet, she said that it didn't work. I feel like I'm torturing her everytime I do her hair. She looks at me fearfully. Oh, well what can I do.

Friday off from school
Petersburg did not have school Friday so we decided to go to Lubbock. We could have gone to a movie or bowling but no Reagan wanted to skating and Reese thought this was a good idea (Oh my gosh they agreed on something). I called a couple of places in Lubbock and the second place said that they were open at 2pm for a group of home schoolers. They did not mind if we came but we could not wear offensive clothing. Apparently they had a group show up before with something on their shirts that they home schoolers did not need to see. I thought we could handle this so off we went. We met Nana Cathy, Ashley, Jenni, Anna and Grey for lunch, went to Sam's, Old Navy, Barnes and Noble and then to Academy and bought Reagan a bike. Finally we made it to the skating rink. We had a blast. Reese fell once and Reagan fell several times. They recovered so much faster than I did. I only fell once and then took off my skates. I was presuaded to put them back for a little while but Reese took his off and went to play video games. Reagan skated the whole time we were there until she fell down right before we left and hurt her wrist.

Together
I finally got the kids and Jon to sit down together. I got some good pictures and some goofy pictures. Reese said that he was cold and so he looks like a terrorist called Barney in his purple quilt. The kids actually got to be home for a little while on Wednesday and will again today. They cancelled the track meet because of the 50 mile an hour wind. I am glad I don't have to stand out in that all evening. Of course, now I have to find something for supper. We were going to eat concession stand food. Now I'm going to town to pick out some new glasses. They got lost when I moved IN NOVEMBER. It's been a pain in the booty to not have them even though I don't wear them very often. I have to leave my contacts in until I am ready to go to sleep and then take them out. Of course then Jon asks me questions and things on the T.V. that I can't see.

Rain
We finally got some rain. The only problem is we got alot at the house but not at the farm. It was still nice to see it, although my dog looks like a drowned rat. He has been banned outside because I found ticks on him. He keeps looking at me like "why am I out here?" The kids are happy because he is hyper and now he can't jump on them. Reagan wants to get a puppy that she picked out. I told her that another puppy will still be hyper. Before we found ticks she would hide in the dog's crate. She would tell me to tell her when Daddy was coming and then when he was she would jump in there and shut the door. When he came in she would say that I was evil and shut her in there. It was really funny.

Weekend
Sage came to visit us this Friday. She had to leave Saturday morning though, to get ready for the prom. We traded kids. Reese went with his Mom and Sage came with us. We had a good night, watching movies and hanging out. Jon and I are going on a date tonight. Reagan is going to visit Nana and Papaw. We're usually to tired to go do anything when the kids aren't here or we have to much stuff to catch up on. This time we are just going to go.

Only the sick
Reese came home from school sick today. They called about 10:15am and said that he was shaking and felt like throwing up. I was planning to do stuff around the house and so I got to go to the school with no make-up on (scary!) and sweats. I was embarrassed. He was running a fever and couldn't get warm. I pumped him full of tylenol and sent him to bed. In the meantime my mother's dog, who has taken to roaming a 10 mile radius, came to visit. She scares my dog and eats all of his food. She is definitely the alpha female. I took her home in the bed of the pick up. Reese was feeling better this afternoon but I let him stay home while we took Reagan to her basketball game. They lost again but tried really hard. She was happy because Nana and Papaw went. Jon went just the way he came home from the farm. He had wrestled with something very dirty. Reese was asleep when we left and woke up when we came in the house. He asked us if we were about to leave. He had missed the whole thing.

Schedules
I just got home from the grocery store. How do kids eat so much? The more I buy the more they eat. I don't think that I left anything at Wal-Mart. While I was gone the lady that cleans my house came and put us back together again. It will stay like this for maybe 12 hours before you can't tell she was here. I feel stupid because I clean the house before she comes. The school gave us a break today. Reese didn't have to be at school at 6:45am and didn't have to stay after school. Reagan's basketball practice at 5pm got cancelled and so we have 2 whole hours before we have to be anywhere. Reagan and I have to be at the church at 6 and Reese has Youth at 7pm. I don't know when they are supposed to get their homework done. For everyone with a crazy schedule---"Good Luck."
