Too Much Time

Reagan called me into her room to show me what she had accomplished. I think that she has too much time on her hands. I don't know how long it took her achieve this feet but she seemed very proud. We ran out of goldfish last week and it was immediately added to my grocery list. These are a staple at my house.

First Shoes

We put Ridge in his first pair of shoes for church last Sunday but.....they didn't even last until we left. They had already fallen off and so we left them at home. He did however look really cute for the picture.

Jumping

Ridge has a new favorite: the hanging jumper. I really don't know what it's called but it hangs from the trim around the doorway and he can bounce. He loves it. He would bounce all day if we'd let him. The only problem is that we only have 2 doorways that he can hang from because of the lowered ceiling in the middle of the house. It's still there from the old air conditioning system but we don't use it anymore. Sage came to talk to him and it looked so cute. Whenever she's in the room he just stares at her. I told her it was because she was so pretty. He just thinks that she's fascinating.

Progress

There's something to be said for progress. Sage, Reagan and Reese are playing a game of wahoo over the webcam and talking through the phone. Reese can see the board and they roll the dice for him. They were going to play Clue but you needed another person to look at the cards. It was fun to see them play together from several hundred miles away.

Spring Break

We took Aaron, Sage and Reagan to Dallas for a short trip over spring break. We took in a Mavericks game, the zoo, the aquarium and stayed at the hotel attached to the Galleria. It was awesome. The Mavericks lost but we didn't care because we got to see it and we got lost many times in the mall but we didn't care because we got to see it. I guess you get my drift. Reagan even got her ears pierced while we were there. She was such a trooper and didn't even flinch. The zoo was a little tiring. I had never driven anywhere bigger than Lubbock so I thought it would be a good idea for me to drive and we borrowed Jenny's GPS (thank you!) so I thought that I would be fine. I did alright but I think I'll pass on ever doing it again even with GPS. It took us an hour to park because it was Sunday afternoon and I make Jon motion sick when I drive.....you can see where I'm going with this. The zoo was interesting but Jon didn't feel to good. Reagan was even tired when we were done and she never runs out of energy. When we got back to the hotel Jon took a nap and I took the kids swimming. We ended up ordering pizza and hanging out in the room for the evening. We got up Monday and took a cab to the Dallas World Aquarium and then walked to the Bodies exibit which it turned out was just a couple of blocks away. It was easy to take a cab right back to the hotel. We then loaded up the car and headed home....where it was snowing. We got in around midnight and were very happy to see our little man who Nana and Grams took turns taking care of while we were gone. Thanks to all involved we had a blast.

Baby Food

Ridge seemed a little apprehensive when we put him in the high chair and he wasn't really thrilled when we put the sweet potatoes in his mouth. You can see the look on his face, it was so sad and funny at the same time. He didn't like the bananas we tried next time either.

Sage Time

Sage has not had enough pictures taken with the crazy man, as I call him. We finally got some of them together and they are so cute. Sage likes to take him in her room to watch tv or to just wiggle on her bed. He can lay on a bed and wiggle for a long, long time. It's his favorite activity.

Growing Up

Ridge can now hold his bottle for short periods of time. He seems to want to do it by himself he just hasn't quite figured it out. I'm sure he'll get it very soon and I'll miss this time together.
