Calling in the ducks!

Riley found Randy's bag of decoys and begged me to get one out so he could play with it. Here's a funny video of him using the duck call on this decoy, Reagan thinks it pretty funny!

What? Christmas?

I cannot believe that Christmas is already on it's way! I got all of my Christmas decorations up on Friday and Saturday, what an ordeal! Riley was very helpful though, he put the ornaments on the tree with me and played with everything I got out...including this mini tricycle!

GIRLS NIGHT!!!

My sister Jenni had her Birthday on the 23rd so we all went out to dinner and shopping. Just the girls! It was very fun, my 3 sisters and my Mom...and Robyn brought her baby Jared in her belly. Juli brought her baby Kennedy, in her arms! We went to McGrath's for dinner then went shopping at the greatest home decor store ever called The Garden Lodge. We had a good time.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Look at that, my first pies ever! They were very pretty and they weren't hard to make at all! That's why I kind of worried that they wouldn't taste all that good, not everything can go right. Surprisingly, they actually did taste good. The pumpkin pie was REALLY good! I would've shared with all of you! I hope you're Thanksgiving was great.

Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl

Our ward, like most others, plays flag football Thanksgiving morning. Here are the boys, ready to play! It was at 7:00 and the thermometer in our car read 19 degree. Chilly!

Riley & Reagan

Riley's starting to really like playing with Reagan. He has his moments of frustration, but for the most part he loves her! It's fun to see them interact and giggle at eachother. She thinks he's the funniest kid ever, he could do anything and she'll laugh. Even when he's crying, she thinks it's hilarious! Randy has a duck call (surprised?) and Riley will blow in it at Reagan and she thinks it is so funny. When Randy uses it you'd think it would scare her because it can be LOUD, but she loves it. They are the funnest, most adorable kids EVER!

I'm 26!!!

So my Birthday was yesterday. Randy got me a bouquet of flowers and a super cute coat from Old Navy. The first half of the day was a bit tiring, my kids both woke up at 5:00 and pretty much cried or whined until 10:30, when they took a nap. Randy and I dropped them off at Shelley's house (thanks Shelley! We love you & your girls!) around 1:30 and went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. YUM! We only had a 1 1/2 hour wait, which is great for that restaurant. And we really enjoyed ourselves. Last time we went to a Cheesecake Factory was in Oregon and we took the kids along...BAD idea! This time we got to relax, walk around the mall, which we seldom do, and just sit on a bench and chat...and people watch, of course. We went back to Shelley's to pick up the kids and I decided Shelley and I needed to go get a pedicure. (Lizz, your "relaxation" gift inspired me!) Then around 7:00 I met up with my friends at Gardner Village for the Moonlight Madness sale. That was another one of my gifts, money to go shopping! Woo-hoo! That was very fun! I bought some really cute stuff, I'll show pictures once I get it all hung up and situated in my house. Well, that was my day and it was a good one!

I've Been Tagged!

Here are 7 interesting things you may not know about me!

1. I broke my nose in 9th grade by leaping onto my friends porch and not quite making it. I know, I'm a dork!
2. I'm double-jointed in my shoulders and can stick my shoulder blades out.
3. I'm training for a half marathon and can run a 9 1/2 minute mile...for 10 straight miles so far. Woo-Hoo!!!
4. Jane Austin's "Pride and Prejudice" is one of my favorite books.
5. I can't swim worth anything! I would love to be able to swim laps but fear I might drown within the first few strokes.
6. I LOVE peanut butter! I could probably eat a whole jar of the stuff BY MYSELF! Wait, who doesn't love peanut butter?
7. My oldest brother Jeremy gave me the nickname "Wiff" when I was little...and no, it's not because I stunk...I don't think?

I'm going to tag: 1) Jenni 2) Juli 3) Robyn 4) Crystal 5) Mickey

We're Going On a CRUISE!!!

So Randy's sister, Jenny, called us on Monday to tell us that her and her husband, Brian, were going on a cruise in January and really wanted us to go too. We thought about it for a few hours, went to the post office and applied for my passport, and started making plans! We are now officially going! We have the cruise tickets and the airfare paid for. I am so excited! We've both been on 2 cruises, the Eastern and the Western Carribean. It's been a few years though and we are definitely due for another one. This time we start in California instead of Florida, we're doing the Mexican Riviera Cruise on the Princess Cruise Line. We're looking forward to it, as you can see from the ticker I set at the top of this blog. One thing that I'm stressing about though is my kids! I haven't ever left them for more than 24 hours! I know they'll be fine, but I hope I can handle it, wish me luck!

Happy PJ Kids!

I have no idea why Riley came and sat on Reagan's lap when I got the camera out, but it was pretty funny. I don't know if you can tell, but Reagan's eyes were so red and tired in these pictures, she's been so sick. Riley and I both got colds last week and thought we'd share, now Randy and Reagan have it too! Reagan has been miserable and she's been crying so much lately. I decided to take her to the doctor today and she has an ear infection and a red throat. She's on antibiotics, which Riley's not too happy about because she won't share! He loves medicine! Maybe that's why they make it taste so nasty for adults, so we won't eat it like candy, because if Riley got hold of his Vitamin C gummy bears, cough drops or a bottle of grape Tylenol he'd down it all!

Mohawk Boys

So my sister-in-law and nephew came over on Wednesday to get their hair cut. The whole time I was doing Jennie's hair Cannon was asking when it was his turn. FINALLY he got his turn and when I was done cutting it he told me how he wanted it styled. He put his hands on top of his head in a peak and said he wanted it all spiked up, so this is the finished product. One mean lookin' Mohawk!! Riley loves playing with Cannon and wanted everything like him, a sucker, some chips, to sit in the same spot, the same way Cannon was, so I thought he'd want a Mohawk too. And here is my attempt! His hair curled perfectly back, so he had more of a surfer's wave on top of his head, but Cannon's Mohawk turned out great. And it was hilarious because he LOVED it! You've never seen a kid keep his head so still as he walked around the room! He'd move his whole body to look from one side to the other instead of using his neck, just so that his sticky, stiff do' wouldn't fall over. And he had a perma-grin the entire time, it was adorable!

Crazy Jumper!

Riley LOVES his Trampoline! He got it for his first Birthday. I know, it's an odd gift to give a one year old but we knew we wanted one eventually so that's what he got! He loves it though and jumps so well on it, he bends his little knees when he's in the air, it's adorable. Reagan loves watching him jump and probably envies him too, the johnny jumper is her favorite thing ever and even when she's not in it she's bouncing! One of Riley's favorite ways to jump is with Randy holding him or "popping" him from sitting position on the tramp to right in his arms. It's pretty cute. As you can see, he likes when I just hold him and jump. No special tricks with Mom!

Bath Time!

Riley thinks it is the funnest thing ever that Reagan's big enough to play in the tub with him. He's not too thrilled about her splashing though. He can splash but when she does, it splashes in his faces and he then sticks his finger out at her and says, " No no, Reagan!" as stern as ever. The other day he actually got out of the tub sooner than usual because she was getting too crazy. She loves the water in her face though, and thinks it's hilarious! They love playing together and it's so fun to see them interact with one another and make each other laugh!

Murder Mystery Dinner!

So our friends had a Murder Mystery Dinner. What a ball! It was so much fun. It was set in the 1940's and we had to dress accordingly! The story was that our friend opened a new restaraunt and invited us all there for opening night. Well, one person didn't show up and there was a letter that basically said that he was dead. We all had papers telling who we were, and we had secrets that we only told if people asked certain questions for them. We had to put all of the clues together to try to find the murderer, which not one person guessed right! Anyway, I was Monica Laminski, a rich lady who got my wealth from my daddy's "accidental" death. Randy was an Italian mobster named Alfredo Bassoni. We got in to character for sure, we went to the Costume Closet and rented costumes and everything! Saturday was a busy day, I really wanted to do some finger waves in my hair but I didn't have enough time, it would've taken a bit of time since I haven't done finger waves for almost 7 years! Anyway, back to the dinner, there were some hilarious names. As you could tell from my name, some people's names were similar to real people. There was Sylvester Malone, Sissy Divine, Mickey Boone, Bud Weiser, Belinda Bright, Adelle Adams, Rene Rockefeller, and the name that was the hardest to keep a straight face when saying was Dicky Seaman, he was a sailor...and the murderer! It was a fun night!

Happy Halloween!

We went to the Centerville Wal-Mart where Randy's Mom works on Halloween. They were set up for trick-or-treating and had games and pumpkin painting. Riley had a fun time and Reagan enjoyed sitting in the cart people watching. Randy's sister Shelley and her twin daughters came too and I got a picture of them and Grandma Peggy in her witch outfit that she made herself! Kelsie let Reagan wear her witch hat, have you ever seen a butterfly witch? Well she's a cute one! And Riley is an adorable Larry the Cable Guy, or red neck or whatever he was! He's adorable no matter what. He loved Halloween...besides wearing a big costume, and got the the hang of trick-or treating this year, it was a fun time.
