Spring Break: Orlando
We had a great trip to Florida starting March 19th. We had been saving up our skymiles for awhile
and were thrilled when we had enough to get all six of us down there for like $40 in taxes! Debating dates, we ended up booking it in March instead of Summer because of the heat and the tier level of availability of the miles. (always looking for a deal).
We surprised the kids about a month out and they were so excited. They have talked about wanting to go to Harry Potter World for awhile now. We decided to do 2 days at Universal and then head south because mom and dad decided a cruise would be so fun w/ the kids. These are the pics from Univeral. Lou Lou and Pampa decided to join us on this trip which was really special for the kiddos. they are putting mission papers in so it was a great thing to spend time w/ them. Lou Lou a knew replacement surgery about 6 weeks earlier, so she was a trooper. We ended up talking her into a wheelchair to ease the stress on her legs. The kids loved that!

We were really impressed w/ Universal Park... both parks. We hit the islands for 1/2 the first day and the Universal Studios part the second 1/2 of the first day. It was so quiet that day, Wednesday. We loved the Barney show for and even though my older girls were rolling there eye's they were secretly singing along! We found that we had more than enough to cover over these two days at the parks.

We loved this pic of Bradford w/ the Lollaloopsie dolls. He loved just playing around everywhere. We hit a lot of kid roller coasters and he was so into them. We loved the rides like Jurassic Park and loved the Dr. Suessville. Anyway, it was a busy couple of days and we had a great time. Then we woke up on Friday and hit the road to Miami to catch our cruise!
Baya loved getting her face painted all fancy. I have to laugh what dad's do for their daughters when mom is out of the picture. Like the whole wand thing at Harry Potter World was all dad! We love him!

Harry Potter world was really animated and well done. The older two and Bry were especially taken! Bry waited in some very long lines for the girls to go to the wand show in the shop. Blakely was chosen as the kid to pick out a wand or have one chosen for her. That was cool... all the more reason for dad to want to buy her one! He got Abby one too, which ended up getting left in the rental car when we left Florida.. bummer.

Beginning of March 2013
March signaled spring right? The weather was nice one day and snowy the next--
Here is what Bradford did w/ a spare 20 minutes while mom was in the shower. Just a serious cereal wasting activity.

Baya and Alivia our neighbor are cute little friends. Bryan took them to the mall one day and got them BFF necklaces. Liv is quite a bit older than Baya, but the do just great together!
Bryan and his dad had planned to hit Vegas for the Big West Basketball tournament. Last minute, Bryan invited Blakely to join them. She was very excited... as she should have been. They hit buffets, stayed at the Trump hotel and did some swimming. She had the whole pool to herself as the temperatures were not real warm. BYU lost unfortunately but they still had a good time.
More snow was the name of the game... and more snow forts for fun. The kids are getting really good at making these--
