Awesome Ruffles

Today we have some great examples of what can be done with our awesome ruffles ribbon. Our stretchy ruffles have a delicate gingham edge with a striped center.
Debbie Littlejohn was kind enough to share the cards below with us. I LOVE what she's done. We just restocked our ruffles and added some new colors, so it's a perfect time to try some in your own artwork.

Rubber Stamp - Thanks - Hearts in Touch

Ruffles Ribbon - Really Reasonable Ribbon

Stamps: Script on scalloped circle - Tin Can Mail; My Dear Heart - Annette Allen Watkins

Paper - Heidi Grace

Punches: Long strip punch is from Martha Stewart, Scallop Punch is from Paper Shapers

Flowers in Line and Funky Vert Ribbons

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to introduce Flowers in Line ribbon. This ribbon is 3/4” wide and comes in a variety of colors. I used the Bright Pink and added yellow rhinestones into the center of each flower. It makes such a pretty embellishment. Next, I made a bow with the new Funky Vert Stripe grosgrain ribbon. This ribbon comes in 3/8” wide and also comes in a variety of color combinations. I used the Yellow/Pink/Green combination. Be sure to check out Really Reasonable Ribbon store for either of these ribbons and many new additions. You’ll surely fall in love with them.

Just For You

I created my first Spring card. Unfortunately, I had to scan the card. Tried taking a picture so you could see how the card springs up, but the camera did not want to corporate and couldn’t get a really good picture.

Rubber Stamp: Just for You from Wags N’ Whiskers Store (Colored with Prisma color pencils and OMS, cut image out and popped up with 3D foam dots).

Card Stock: Yellow, blue, green and prints from Martha Stewart – In Pastels.

Die-Cuts: Nestabilities Ovals/Scallop Ovals.

Embossing: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Punches: Martha Stewart Branch punch and EK Success Leaves punch.

Inks: Sakura Stardust (flowers).

Embellishments: Yellow Liquid Applique’ (center of flowers), yellow rhinestones, 3/4” Flowers in Line Bright Pink ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and 3/8” Funky Vert Stripe Yellow/Pink/Green grosgrain ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hi!WoW!!! What a generous drawing. I just posted about it on my Facebook & Twitter page. My updated tweets show up on my sidebar of my blog, too. I'm definitely a card maker and would use the ribbon for that. Check out my blog to see what I like to do with ribbon & be sure that I tweeted about it.{{hugs}}M.E.

A little Easter and a lotta Ribbon

Hi Everyone and Happy Thursday to you all. I hope that you had a great Valentine's weekend. With all the snow that many of us have experienced over the winter, I thought what a great opportunity to showcase some "SPRING FILLED" ribbon. The February ribbon club kit is filled with beautiful pieces and fresh colors. From pretty peachy mini dots to Funky Vertical Stripes, Pink satin to Lime Mini RicRac. Oh this kit is filled with ribbons that will make you smile.

Now after I opened this little package of Really Reasonable Ribbon up, I couldn't choose just one or two to highlight, so here it goes. Erika has really stepped outside of her comfort zone and she has created a ribbon background. Don't ya just LOVE IT!!!! Complete with Easter Egg Flowers. I did a "cute" card. So without further adieu, take a look at what the February Ribbon Club kit has to offer. For $9.00 a month, you will get between 10-15 yards of ribbon shipped right to your door from Really Reasonable Ribbon. If you are an International client, your cost is only $11.50! Now THAT is a great deal.

Try creating a ribbon background for your next project. The texture and color will be amazing.

We'll see you next Thursday
Toodles
