Easter

As per the norm, we had a low key Easter. The kids got to do an Easter egg hunt after church, with candy and some special eggs that had symbols of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. We also had our new neighbors, The Ross', over for lunch and the first game of the playoffs for the Spurs. When a Spurs game is on Sunday, Scott always calls it a "spur-itual" experience. That started with his dad many years ago. We are grateful for the atonement of our Savior! For the opportunity it gives us to be better today than we were yesterday and to one day overcome death and be with our family eternally.

Spring Break

This year for Spring Break we took a trip up to the Portland area to visit Scott's best friend from high school and their family. We had a great time! We got to go to the beach and see a shipwreck in Astoria, as well as "The Goonies" house and some WWII bunkers, ice cream, and an awesome castle playground. The kids got to play at the Children's Museum, we got to go on a double date, we took nature walks, and we played lots of canasta and just hung out enjoying the Poston's company. Besides a double diaper blow out thanks to Ever and Milo, our drive there and back was quite uneventful.
Would you look at that? I have 5, count them, 5 kids!

THE BEACH/BUNKERS
Annicka and Emily became friends from the get go and had so much fun dancing and singing the "Frozen" songs together all week.
If you look closely you can see how wet Indie is...he ended up falling in the waves and nearly getting himself swept out to sea. Good thing we brought extra clothes!
And Park and Kaden became good friends too. They balanced each other well with Park's quietness and Kaden's intensity. They had so much fun!

NATURE WALK

 "NO! No picture!"
Milo was terrified of this little dog, Cooper, for the first 2 or 3 hours after we got there. Once he was used to him they were the best buddies. Cooper was such a patient dog with Milo and Indie's rough love.
And one day the fire department was burning down an old restaurant and using it as training. It was quite the show!

CHILDREN"S MUSEUM

One of the few pictures where Milo actually said "cheese!" The rest of the time it was, "NO!"
And this beautiful little girl sat in her stroller and was good the whole time at the museum. Such a good baby!

And I guess the Michaelson's missed us while we were gone! They put up a "Welcome Home" sign for us! They are the best neighbors ever!
