Happy Birthday Ever!

I can't believe that my baby is 2! She has so much personality! She has a quiet, independent side, and then this silly, squeeze-you-tight, sassy side that makes us all laugh. We just love her to death. She gets a little spoiled, and we should probably discipline her more...but she's the baby right? ;) We're so glad you joined us this day 2 years ago, EVER!

San Antonio

I got to go to San Antonio all by myself. Thank you, Scott, for allowing me this privilege. I went to see my brother-in-law, Ross, and his wife Emily, along with new baby Vivienne and my two nephews Dexter and Doug. It was Dexter's birthday while I was there. I had a great time holding the new baby, playing with boys outside in the 70 degree weather, and helping Emily keep up with the day to day of house work and taking care of kids. It was so great to hang out and spend time with them. I love them!

Happy Birthday Indie!

Of course this 7-year-old boy wanted to go to a trampoline park for his birthday. So that's what we did. :)

How much we all love Indie!! Even when he is yelling at us. ;) He has made so much progress over the last year that it is unbelievable. He began first grade in an autism classroom at a nearby satellite school. He now is in a regular mainstream class all day long. He is staying caught up with the other kids in math and is barely behind in reading and writing. He talks non-stop and has full on conversations with us. He pretend plays, asks and answers questions, and loves math. We are so proud of this kid and so happy to have him in our family. He has been worth every single gray hair! :D

Happy New Year!

New Year's isn't usually a big deal for us, but this year we had some good fun with friends!

We were able to see Amber and JP Giles for a little while (they live in Texas for now). It was a date night reunion (minus the Dimond's)! And a fun game of Exploding Kittens! We sure feel blessed to know such amazing and uplifting people! We love the Michaelson's, Giles, and Rejholec's!
