One of those weeks...
Have you ever had one of those weeks where nothing is really "wrong", but everything you do just seems to be in order to pass the time. Well, last week was one of those weeks. Nothing was wrong, but I felt like I was just going through the motions as I went through my routine for the week: Sunday: Church & youth Bible study, Monday: Bible study & school, Tuesday: school & Bible study, Wednesday: school, Thursday: school, Friday: school... My weeks are basically the same, as I'm sure it is for most people. Sometimes (most of the time) this routine is a good thing, you always know what to expect. Well, last week, it just felt boring! BUT, the most incredible part of my job is that I have 15 little ones to remind me why I do what I do. When I got to school on Friday one of my students handed me this:
Isn't that precious? It made for a wonderful day on Friday and a great weekend! I get a ton of hugs everyday! It's very easy to get wrapped up with the paperwork and such in my job, but this picture was a great reminder to me of why it's worth putting up with. I hung the picture on my window by desk and look at it often for reassurance!

Labor Day Weekend
After the game on Saturday we drove back to the lake so that we could spend ALL day out in the sun on Sunday, which we did! We couldn't have asked for better weather. Sunny and warm with a good breeze. Now, just because we were at the lake was no excuse for Reed and Marcus to miss the fantasy football draft.
They made sure to have the internet up and running for the Sunday night draft. Yes, they are sitting outside, huddled around the laptop because that is where they could get the best signal. Well, this post is getting long so I'm going to wrap it up with a few miscellaneous pictures from the weekend. Enjoy!
