Elegant Tea Party

It was finally Sugar Bears turn to go to the Elegant Tea Party.  She has been ready to go ever since her big sister went when she was in Kindergarten.

Here she is all dolled up in our driveway before school.

Here are all the little girls in her class with their crowns.

They made quite the entrance with all the girls being escorted in by the little boys.

The first dance was with the little boy who escorted her in.

Then the next dance was with another little boy.

All in all she danced with three little boys.  Each one of the little boys moms personally came up to me and said they were so glad that her son got to dance with Sugar Bear.  They all were dying to dance with her.  I have to say as the mom of Sugar Bear I am not real sure how I feel about that.

And last but not least she got to dance with her Daddy.

After dancing the kids sat at the table and enjoyed a small snack and tea.

The whole class with their teacher.

At the end of the day the girls decided to play a little game before they went home.

Sugar Bear and her teacher.  She was dressed up as the King of Hearts.  All the teachers were dressed up as the characters of Alice in Wonderland.

Softball Tournament

The weekend before the regular softball season started our coach entered us in a softball tournament.  And at the end of a very long weekend we were really glad he did.

Here she is with some of her teammates.

And here she is with her Coach.  She really likes her coach he is funny, silly and he really knows how to bring out the best in her.  Most of all he believes in her and has given her a ton of confidence.

Of course Little Sis was there to cheer on Big Sis.  Or maybe she was there for the concession stand and playground.  But either way she was there supporting her sister.

And like I said before we were really glad we went.  We ended up winning the tournament.  By the end of the weekend the girls had played 4 games.  They won all the games but one.  The game they lost was the last one of the tournament and it was 9:00 at night and they were so tired and played like they were tired.  But because we were undefeated they had to play us one more time.  So the girls rallied and won the last game and the tournament.
Pooh Bear played like a champ the whole weekend.  I could  not have been more proud it I tried.  She hit great and fielded the ball great.  It is an awesome feeling as a mom when you see all the time, work, effort and practice all come together.

Here is the trophy the team won.

And here is the trophy and the metals.

She was so proud of herself and her team.

Spring Break

We had ton of fun over Spring Break!  We took it easy and spent the whole week day by day.  It was nice to not be in a "routine" and just have fun and play.

This little boy is one of the kiddos from my preschool class.  He is such a sweetie, we had him for a few days during spring break.

We went to McWane Center with some friends.

Pooh Bear thought she wanted to do this but as soon as she got going she was scared to death.

We even set up a tent for the girls to sleep in one night.

We also met up with my friend and co-worker and her granddaughter MJ at the zoo!

We had a blast and we are looking forward to the summer.
