Love this picture
Bottom of the Ocean
Driving through town
We are having to dodge these things here like we dodge squirrels at home! My dad has almost flattened at least three and squished at least a few tails. These Iguanas are not scared of us at all, one attacked a man at lunch for his fries! You think I am kidding but I'm not! I was scared of seeing a Shark but now I am afraid of the Iguanas.
If you look close you can see the barb wire fence with the cactus growing through it! Talk about a serious fence.
If your wondering...
Being Brave
Here is me putting on a (fake) smile as I get ready for my first night dive. I was scared to death! We followed our dive master and I was so close to him that when he turned around he said he felt like he was being swarmed by bees! What can I say? I was making sure I was not getting lost, because it was DARK. I also had a hold of my sweet husband the entire time. I am not sure I want to do that again any time soon. Or if I do I want a BRIGHTER flash light!!!!

Catching Up...
with good friends, it has been awhile since I have seen these girls. And spending time with them made me wish I could see them more. We met at Newk's the other day for lunch and talked until the little ones could no longer stand it. I miss getting to see Lindsay and Allison and wish I could see them more. I also can't wait to see Lindsay's little guy Levi when he is born.

Pooh Bear's Christmas Party
I was lucky in Pooh Bear's Class all I had to do was provide the craft.
She had a great time they started out eating snacks......
Then they came to me and I painted their hands and turned it into a Christmas tree then the kids decorated it with sequin ornaments....
And last but not least they had a book swap. They passed the books to Christmas music and which every one they had when the music stopped is the one they got. Pooh Bear got the Nutcracker. She is out for a whole 14 days too!!
I made their outfits and I finished the shirt the night before they were suppose to wear them. Nothing like waiting until the last minute.
Sugar Bear's School Party
As room mom of Sugar Bear's class I got the joy of planning her Christmas Party. So the kids started with Reindeer food with the Teacher. After the reindeer food one of the moms read a book about reindeers.
Then we made reindeer ornaments

Finally the day of Breakfast with Santa! We were all so excited and of course we brought our friend with us to enjoy the crafts, food, story and Santa.
First, we made a cute ornament for the tree. They decorated the tree with dots and each dot had a meaning. The Yellow Star represents God's perfect light, Red represents the blood Jesus shed for us, Purple represents the crown of life, Black represents our sins, White represents the cleansing of our sins, Blue represents the baptism that identifies us with Jesus, Green represents the new life we have in Jesus. The ornament also included the verse
"Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved" Acts 16:31
Then we all sat down and listen to the Real story of Christmas. Lyn our Children's Minster read the story to the children. She is a fantastic Minster and we love her. Unfortunately the day after the Breakfast with Santa Lyn was helping with one of the youth baptism when she fell down the stairs and broke her arm. She then had to have surgery and had a plate put in her arm. She is now at home recovering.

Spend the night Company
Pooh Bear wanted one of her sweet friends to spend the night at our house. And because Audrey is such a sweet little girl I was happy to oblige. We had just one little obstacle to over come. Comet - the dog. She was so worried about him and was not sure at all about me letting him in the house. But once I talked to her and she saw he really is a sweet dog she decided she liked him. As you can see I think she is beginning to really like him. She went from being scared of him to chasing him around the house to pet him.
Once we were okay with Comet we made a big soft pallet in the floor for them to lay on and watch Christmas movies. I had been recording movies for at least two weeks.
After a little movie time we ate dinner. Yummy pot roast, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and rolls. They all came real close to making happy plates.
After dinner we took a short little trip around the neighborhood to let our food settle and to look at all the Christmas Lights. Then we hurried back home to make cookies.
I wasn't sure there would be any sprinkles left for the cookies at the rate the girls were eating them. But what fun is decorating the cookies if you can't eat the sprinkles.
After cookies it was a fast shower and off to bed. We had a big day the next day we had Breakfast with Santa. But we could not go to sleep until we got to tell our mom Good Night!
Thank you Kelly for letting your sweet daughter spend the night with us it was a real pleasure having her here at our house.
