Girls Play Room

I found these cute little Snowmen and Santa heads at Sam's last year. I went week after week last year and every time I went I talked myself out to them until finally one day I just decided to buy them. I can honestly say I have not regretted it for even a moment.

The girls tree is a candy - princess theme tree. I LOVE buying the Dept. 56 goody goody gumdrop collection. I buy all kinds of stuff in that collection for the girls, including the snowmen I showed you in another post.

Here is the mantel which I love just because it is simple and cute. I also love my stockings. I love mine because my mom made it for me when I was little. I love the girls because I spent so many hours working on them when they were still in my tummy. And I love Dougie's stocking because I made it when we were dating.

The Reid Girls

Curly Q

The girls wanted me to roll their hair again for Thanksgiving. Well...I guess I should be honest and say that Sugar Bear wanted me to roll her hair and Pooh Bear did it because her sister did. I decided to try it a little different this time and I used smaller rollers on Sugar Bear's hair and boy oh boy did it curl. At first she did not like it but as the day went on she liked all the attention.

The Indian

Pooh Bear's class did at cute little skit for us on Friday. They sang some songs and said a few poems. She did a great job!

Cute smile with no front tooth.

She served me and he sister our feast of muffins, popcorn and apple juice.

She ended up eating most of the popcorn.
At the end of every day she just about eats me out of house and home.

Here is the turkey she made with an apple, toothpicks, raisins and an olive.

This is her cute popcorn bag.

Thanksgiving Feast at School

Sugar Bear sang at her school today and she was so cute up there. She is just like me she was standing up there chewing on her finger nails, almost the whole time. I always do that then I am nervous. But she was really cute and did a good job.

Then of course all she ate at the feast was the roll and cookies!

But Daddy Bear, the girls and I LOVE our Christmas decorations.
So........ we put the tree up in the Kitchen and the snowmen up in the playroom.

I decorate the tree in the kitchen with red and white, food and
gingerbread men ornaments.

Pooh Bear and friend with their books. She ended up with Skippy Jon Jones In the Dog House and Llama Llama Red Pajama. They are both cute books I had never read before.

Here is Kylie showing off her purchase to the librarian.
She is such a Teacher's Pet just like her momma.

Halloween Centers - Craft

This is the craft I came up with for the kids. Pooh Bear's sweet teacher found something like this on Oriental Trading but by the time we were ready to purchase it they were sold out. So I decided to recreate it.

I bought a piece of wood that was 12 inches wide and cut it into 8 inch sections. Then I painted the wood green with house paint and painted the words at the top of each plaque. Then Daddy Bear drilled holes and I ran the wire across the top and finished it off with a bow. Next Pooh Bear's teacher did the kids hand prints during one of their center times the day before the party. Last but not least, the kids stuck down the body, eyes and nose and drew the mouth. I thought it turned out pretty cute and hopefully it is something they will all keep.
