Trying something new...

These are called CurlFormers and I got them at Sally's.
I only used about 10 rollers in her hair.
The rollers are sold 8 to a pack and if I would have
planned a little better I think I could have gotten
away with just using the 8. The pack of rollers was $10.99 and the
little hook you use with is was $3.99.
I bought the long and narrow but they have all different sizes.

Story Time with Mrs. Eve

Sugar Bear is waiting in line to draw a belly button on the elephant.

Her belly button is that little line up on the elephants right ear.
I think maybe I need to talk to her about what a belly button is and where it is located.
Although I really thought she knew.

Her craft was an elephant puppet.

MMM....Lunch

My oldest daughter has been begging me to come and eat lunch with her. So my mommy guilt kicked in and I went today. She was surprise and excited to see me. It was tacos today, one of her favorites.

She got to pick a friend to eat with us. I think this is the REAL reason she likes for me to come eat with her. She likes sitting at a different table or outside with a friend.

Lovie

Did you every have a lovie? Do you have a child that has a lovie? If so you know how important they are. This is Sugar Bear's lovie, it is a blanket that she has had and slept with since she was a baby. I gave it to her when she was a baby because she liked to wrap the blanket around her head when she slept. It scared me to death so I gave her this blanket because it at least had holes in it. But now 3 1/2 years later it is on it's last leg. It no longer comes clean (white) and every time I wash it it falls apart a little more. I am at a point where I don't know what to do. I am not sure she will be able to sleep without it. But before long it is going to be just a string.

Fun Family Game

We played this game this weekend and it was cute. The name of it is Guess What I Am. Basically you pick a card and you can't look at it, then you take turns trying to guess what you are.

100 days.... well maybe not...

I can hardly believe it but Pooh Bear has been in Kindergarten for 100 days! They were celebrating today so I made her a special shirt to wear!

So I sent her to school today in this cute little shirt and had her bag full of 100 items to share. But when I got home this afternoon I had an email from her teacher that said oops I goofed the 100th day is actually Thursday. She had put it on the calendar for today but she counted wrong and it is Thursday. So I had the best of intentions but they did not work out like I planned. Oh well, that is the story of my life these days. In the end it is the thought that counts, RIGHT?

The lion was wake and in a playful mood today.
She was pouncing on the male lion while he was asleep.

Christmas 2009

Although it feels like Christmas was 4 weeks ago it wasn't and I thought I would post some pictures...

We started our Christmas Eve with the Candle light service at the Church.
I always love this service.

Then over to Paw Paw's and Mimi's for dinner and presents

I started making my brothers presents hard to get into last year and I did it again this year. This is a picture of him under all the gift wrap that was on his present from us.

Here are the girls in there cute Christmas P.J's. I had matching pants!

After playing with Santa gifts we were off the Papa's and Nana's. Where we got to see our sweet Cousins.

Last but not least we went to see my grandparents. Here the girls are with my mom (Mimi).

Pooh Bear and my dad (Paw Paw)

Daddy Bear, Mama Bear, Pooh Bear and Sugar Bear

All good thing must come to an end

Although I am going to miss the beautiful blue water and the warm sandy beach. I am so very glad to be home. The girls were amazing the whole trip. They did great on the plane and at the all the dives and they were really exceptional at the 2 and 3 hour meals. I kid you not every lunch and dinner took between 2 and 3 hours. It was a very interesting trip and I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to go and take the girls. Thank you dad and mom for a trip we won't ever forget. Be sure and check out my mom's blog she has a bunch of really great pictures too.

What a view...

This was our view while we ate lunch one day!
