Too cute to spook

Sugar Bear went to dance the other day in her costume and her teacher took this cute picture for me.

This is Sugar Bear's most favorite friend in the whole world.  I believe she is the only reason Sugar Bear decided that she would keep going to school.

The last of the Birthday Pictures...

After Pooh Bear's party we met Nana and Aunt Shirley for dinner.  We also got to see Aunt Brandi, Sarah and Bryant.  The girls were SO happy to see everyone.

 Silly faces...

Pretty faces and closed eyes.  Sometimes it is just impossible for me to get the "perfect" picture.

Mystery Reader...

I went Friday, October 14th to Pooh Bear's school and I was the Mystery Reader.  But I decided not to read a book instead I brought a whole bunch of "stuff" for the kids to make ghosts.  We needed decorations for their Halloween Party coming up and what better way to decorate?  Have the children do the work.

It was also red ribbon week and wear red day.  I lucked out because I had just made the outfit Pooh Bear had on.  I made the pants and added the red rick rac to the top.  I hope to add an applique one day, maybe.

Here is Pooh Bear's ghost she made.  Pretty cute, right?

Here are some of the other ghost the other kids made.

And the treat I brought was doughnuts.   Yep I am one of "those" moms.  You know the one that brings the sugary sweets.  Yep thats me.

But I have to say she sure was happy about her treat.  And the others were pretty happy too.

Skate Party

Pooh Bear decided to have a skating party this year.  And of course when I asked her what kind of cake she wanted, she said a ROLLER SKATE.  So here is my best attempt at a free handed roller skate.

She was very unsteady on the skates but she was all smiles.

Sugar Bear was REALLY unsteady.  She spent most of the day on her bottom not on her skates.

Oh NO, I think she is going down.

She took several breaks.  I think she was cooling off and giving her rear end a break.

Towards the end of the party they had a few races for her party.  They asked for to stand up and as you can see a few friends and a sister decided to stand up with her.

Then they sat down and just the Birthday Girl was left.

The sock race.

Of course Sugar Bear talked her Daddy into a treat while she rested.

Limbo

How low can you go?

Time to sing and blow out the candles .

She got them all in one blow.

We finally made it home and then she tore into her presents.

She was as happy as can be.  She got to skate with all her friends and she got all kinds of great presents that are still laying all over my house.

Cheerleading with the Big Girls...

The girls got the opportunity to cheer with the big girls and they loved it.  They went to the High School twice and spent a couple of hours each time learning cheers.  And the Big finally was the girls getting to cheer during the second quarter at the High School game.  Here are the pictures...

Pom poms!  She was SO excited to get to use the pom poms.

And she was so excited to get to do an elevator.

That same night, we  my hubby WON in a Chick- fli- A drawing.  We got 52 weeks of free chicken combo meals.  Score, Right?
