To summarise all the things that are new, bizarre and some of them as awesome in a post is difficult. To write things that happened in the first week in Newcastle is also a tough thing to do. I keep remembering and forgetting stuff at the same time it proves to be irritating when I want to share with you guys many things.
Life here is quite nice. Apart from the occasional cold and rain and strong wind, walking to school can be enjoyable. Although the walking tires me out everyday, the view is breathtaking. That is, it’s only the week one. Maybe after a month I will get sick of watching cows and fields on my way to class. It’s definitely cleaner here than in Malaysia, I notice. And I find that there are many recycle bins here, too many in fact that at times I couldn’t find any regular waste bin.
The things I like most here in UK are the milk, chocolates, butter, cheese, Crunchy Nuts, tea, baguettes, oh my God it’s all food! I ate Auntie Anne’s cinnamon pretzel for lunch while sightseeing in town today. That was heavenly.
Above all, I hate toilets here.
