Livin' Life To The Fullest!

The Replogle's
Never a dull moment around this crazy household...and enjoying every minute of it:)

Jarrett Gregory
Jett is now 5...and big stuff! Can you believe that he is going to Kindergarten this fall? He got the shots to prove it - ouch with a lot of drama! He is quickly turning into a little man and such a joy to be around. He is now Royalty...you are now looking at Milford's Fun Fest King! He went to a VBS last week that also had a soccer camp with it. I got him new "kicks" for it and he calls them his "fast shoes." He is still completely in love with his baby sister and talks to her in the sweetest voice that drips in adoration. He is also in love with a girl from his school and is determined that they are going to get married...and have a cat.

Brayden Michael

The terrible two's were a joke. THREE. Wow! I mean, look at that face. He's got "I'm a handful...or I'm in pain:)" written all over it...but oh is he such an adorable and lovable kid. We have been working on potty training for the last two weeks...and I think we've got it. Yahoo! He seems so much bigger now that he does his business in the potty. He is a fish in the water this year. He is really into the alphabet and the sounds of the letters, we are hoping he isn't bored in preschool this year. It has been a year since he had Kawasaki Disease...and we just got word back from his Echo that there has been improvement on his heart. Thank You Lord!

Kyla Suelyn

Oh my goodness - isn't she adorable...and I get to be with her all day! Kyla is now 11 weeks old and such a wonderful baby. I mean seriously, if I knew they came this easy I would have ordered two earlier! She sleeps through the night (8:30p.m. to 7:00a.m.) takes good naps durning the day, happy and smiling when awake and just such a joy to be around. She is starting to get some chub on her and she is up to 12 lbs and 23 inches long. She loves her passy and is working on getting her thumb in her mouth if those stinking fingers would just get out of the way. She loves her jungle gym and swing...and being in her mommy's arms! Thank you Jesus for our precious, Kyla!

The Night The Lights Went Out In New Paris...

And this is why I was born in the age of electricity. What a long night. We had a horrible storm last night and of course Greg was gone and I had to endure it by myself. We survived! We headed downstairs to the basement and the kids were having a snacks while watching a movie - doing great - until the pitch dark came. We moved to the bedroom with a window and I found some flashlights for them to play with. Brayden was hilarious, he kept walking around trying to turn the lights on while proclaming in his only volume of voice (LOUD) "IT'S NOT WORKING!" He has never experienced loss of electricity so he was quite confused. An example of our conversation once we made it upstairs.

"Mommy, can I watch a movie?"
"No. Sorry, baby the tv doesn't work."
"Can I play on the puter?"
"Nope, that doesn't work either."
"I go play trains?"
"You can, but the light in your room doesn't work."
"Can I have oatmeal for snack?"
"No, the microwave doesn't work either."
He then heads down the hallway and shortly after I hear the toliet flush.
"MOMMY, THE POTTY WORKS!"
Funny kid - Love him! After the kids were in bed I had a nice relaxing evening of reading my book by the dim light of my flashlight. Around 11:30 I started getting a headache and didn't understand why...dur...maybe cause I had been reading my book by dim light for three hours. My parents came to check on me durning the evening and they thankfully took some of my freezer items to their house along with "Kyla milk" that I consider liquid gold:) This morning at 6:42 a.m. (oh yes, we were up) the lights came on and the boys jumped up and down screaming with delight...I wanted too also, but heck, it was 6:42 in the morning - being verticle was a good accomplishment at that point. I hear Papa Denny is my knight and shining armor and got the electric back on for us. Thanks Papa Denny...and my sanity for the day thanks you too:)
