Ready. Set. Roll.

I can't believe that my baby is rolling over already!
The boys didn't roll over until after they were sitting up...
Show off, Kyla:)
That's right, she's already trying to keep up with her big brothers!

It's a sickness really...

matching...
it can't be helped...
it can't be stopped...
and it is only getting worse!

Sadly, it just didn't start...
It's been for years...

I can just see the kids rollling their eyes as teenagers...

"Seriously, Mom"...

Through the eyes of a child

If you remember at Christmas time I told you that Jett got a camera and that I would post some pictures...yeah. Well, we had a few problems with the camera, life happened, had a baby...and now I have gotten around to putting up a few of Jett's "photo shoots." The first few minutes were a bit rough as he was figuring out how to use it. We either had to bend down to get ourselves in the picture, or our heads were just chopped off. But he's a smart kid and got the hang of it fast...and loves taking pictures.

Here is Uncle Lee and Aunt Becca who so kindly got the camera...

This is Jett's creative side. This is a picture through a wrapping paper tube. Pretty cool, huh! I call it..."the light at the end of the tunnel"

He also likes to take the camera places for a few shots. Here we are at a Fairfield basketball game and Jett is catching all the action.

Jett...his favortie object to take pictures of:) I find him walking around the house taking pictures of himself. Brayden does this too, but he can't reach the button the other way so we have TONS of pictures that just include a mouth with a passy in it.

Right now his passion is taking pictures of his trains. As I write this he is lining up all his trains and taking individual pictures of each of them and then putting them into groups....and now we are having problems with the camera again...mom to the rescue!!!!!

Cel-e-brate Good Times, Come on!

Today we are celebrating Kyla being in our lives for...100 days!

Isn't she breath-taking!

Since she has been born Jett keeps asking if she is 100 days yet. He is REALLY into anything that can be used with the number 100. Like 100 seconds... days... minutes... pieces... years... and that he can now count to, yep you guessed it...100. He's been asking for awhile if we can throw her a party for the big day, and I agreed to his great idea and told him he could plan it.

So what was his big plan for the day you ask?...That he would have his friend Makenna over for the day:) Ha! They did play with her and held her a bunch in the act of celebrating! He was one proud brother:)
We also put up a birdfeeder in honor of Kyla. We got it a week ago and hung it up on the kitchen window. Yeah, not the brightest idea I've ever had. At night when I would walk into the kitchen it looked like a head that was staring at me. After a few screams, I decided it needed to be moved! Plus the birds weren't getting the memo, so we decided to move it out to the woods for their convenence. Then Aunt Darcy was super nice and took pictures of us. We needed to take Kyla's 3 months pictures, Brays 3 year and Jett's 5 year and we tried to throw in a family picture too. Not crazy at all! (cough, cough).

Happy 100 Days Old, Kyla Suelyn!
We love you!

Cause it's ladies night...

OH WHAT A NIGHT!
I've had two...count them 2...ladies nights this month so far. Pretty sure that's a record. Pretty sure I could get used to this! Night #1 was to dinner and to the movie Eclipse. The company was hilarious and the movie was great, but a little more intense than the rest of the saga's. At the beginning I thought it was a preview and leaned over and told Darcy that I didn't want to see this movie...yep, it was the movie we were there to see:)

Night #2 was a "my husband has been gone too long and I'm going crazy so I'm gonna call a few of my besties and escape for a few hours:)" kinda night!!!! It was wonderful! I think we laughed about 90% of the time and the other 10% was the talking that lead up to the laughter. I tell ya, let loose four moms of toddlers for a night on the town and you just get some crazy. The poor fellas behind us probably overheard A LOT more than what they wanted too. Thanks girls for talks, the laughter and your amazing friendships. I'm one blessed lady!!!

Weekend Bliss

First and foremost...Happy 3 months, Kyla! I can't believe today my baby is already 3 months old. We love you sooooo much! Jett has been asking since she was born if we could throw her a party when she is 100 days old. I think that is a great and fun idea...so I'm cookin' something up for next Thursday:) And yes, I know I'm a dork for the matchy-match, but I couldn't help it!!!
We had a fabulous 4th of July weekend. It started on Thursday when I had a girl's night out to see the movie Eclipse! Then on Friday the kids and I just stayed at home and relaxed and then we went into Goshen for the First Friday's...which was crazy...and might have been more enjoyable if we would have been more prepared for the mass of people. Greg was in Heaven as he was salivating over all the awesome cars for the cruise-in. Saturday we took it easy and in the evening had Greg's parents over for dinner.
On Sunday and Monday we headed up to the lake cottage for a day of bliss in the sun! The weather was perfect, the water was warm and the company was enjoyable! The kids had a great time swimming and it was so fun watching them. On Sunday they literally were in the water all day. From 1:00-8:00p.m....and it was hard to get them out even then. The best part was that everyone got out in the water together...even Miss Kyla (and she loved it). Usually we have a few party poopers (myself included) that don't because of the cold water or weather, but it was so beautiful no one could refuse. My Uncles are super good with the kids (as you can see from the picture to the right) and in the water they are always holding a kid and making them laugh! We even had new helpers in the kitchen this year. My lovable hubby and my cousin Travis spent some time with their arms in the sink helping out. Don't let Greg's face fool you, he enjoyed every minute of it:) We are so blessed with such amazing and loving family...and a place full of such sweet memories to enjoy together!
