Hi there everyone,
So I was livin' the high life this weekend & got to go to the CFW Boutique Show & Designer Awards at the Triskel Arts Centre. Brilliant location, nice atmosphere & of course, loads of lovely food and wine. There were 2 categories on the night : CFW Best Newcomer & CFW Designer of the year. I was delighted to see a girl who is originally from the town next to me here in Kerry take the, "CFW Best Newcomer", title. Grainne O' Connor's collection was inspired by Florence & the Machine and was extremely eye-catching from the minute it hit the catwalk. The, "CFW Designer of the Year" category was won by, Alice Haliday, who has very interestingly had Florence Welch wear one of her capes - Wow !
Unfortunately, as I'm still in the process of buying a new camera (Yay!), I only had my iPhone last night to take an odd snap or two...& a very quick little snap of my outfit. The quality isn't that great but take a peak anyway & any comments are, as always, welcomed.

Also, I want to say big well done to my friend, Laura Jayne Halton, who also showed her collection on the night. I'm a huge fan of her wonderfully elegant pieces & her attention to detail, undoubtedly, pays off every time. Check out her website here.
Oh & I nearly forgot to mention that Fashion TV were filming the whole event...pretty cool, eh?....& what is even cooler is that they complimented the outfit I was wearing & asked if they could take a picture ! DELIGHTED :)
