Outfit Post: Blue, Baby Blue.

Penneys/Primark Jumper | Topshop Jeans & Boots | NYC necklace & watch
HYPE on Lookbook.nu HERE

Sunday was such a lovely day, so I made a trip to Salthill -a beautiful beach here in Galway. It's genuinely very hard to find a nicer place to spend a few hours when the weather is nice. Baby blue is my latest obsession this season, so I was delighted when I came across this cashmere sweater in Penneys/Primark. The necklace & watch are more NYC purchases and the leather waistcoat (which you can kind of see) is one I found in a charity shop a few years ago.

Hope you've all been having a nice week!

Outfit Post: Oversized Tee & Leather Bomber Jacket

Galway <3

River Island (Mens) T-shirt | H&M Jacket (NYC) | Topshop Jeans | Topshop Boots | NYC Necklace
You can Hype on Lookbook.nu HERE

I bought this T-shirt for a photo shoot I was styling back in May (which you can see HERE) in a sale in the mens section in River Island. I love buying guys clothes as they're always that little bit oversized. You're also looking at my brand new leather bomber jacket from H&M in NYC...my new favourite addition to my wardrobe!

I got a chance to do some thrift shopping in Galway this weekend and managed to find some really cool pieces -including a pair of blue short dungarees! As strange as they might sound, with a bit of DIY, I cannot wait to see how they'll turn out! I officially love sunny weekends in Galway :)

Hope you've survived another Monday!

Outfit Post: Autumn Jewels

Vintage Waistcoat (NYC) | Penneys Sweater | H&M Leather Pants | Topshop Boots | NYC Necklace

On Tuesday, I met up with my partner in crime, Saibh Egan, to take some pictures for a project I'm currently working on. Not only is Saibh a seriously amazing photographer, she is also the most obliging person I know & is always willing to help me out with any projects I have going on. I know I've said it over & over again, but if you haven't checked out her work already -you are missing out! Take a look at her Facebook Page HERE, where you can keep updated on all the exciting shoots she is working on.

We met up at my university, which proved to be a lovely location to take some photos. Autumn is definitely my favourite time of year  -the colours, the leaves & the crisp air provide such inspiration for outfit posts. The burgundy waistcoat I'm wearing is my latest obsession. The night before I left New York, I visited an amazing vintage store close to where I was living & found this piece on the sale rack for $5. It's the perfect layering piece for Winter & I love how it adds a little bit of sophistication to an outfit.

Eclectic Eccentricity Ring

The necklace is also a New York purchase. I was wandering around Soho one day when I came across a store full to the brim with jewellery & for that week only -everything was 50% off! I picked up some amazing pieces of jewellery, but this is definitely my favourite find. I love the jewel tones & the fact that it is a statement piece in itself. The ring that I'm wearing on the left is from a market I went to in Brooklyn during the Summer (I haven't taken it off since) and the ring on the right is from an amazing online jewellery store called Eclectic Eccentricity, that I just recently found.

I had forgotten how much I loved doing outfit posts, so you can expect a lot more in the coming weeks. I still have loads more NYC purchases to show you!

Hope you've all had a lovely week :)
