In the recently concluded Shooting Competition 2013 held on 21 November, 5 of our Part C cadets competed in the 100m Live Range Shoot. We are very proud to announce that our Part C team has done our unit proud by clinching the Air District Girls Champions!

On 30th October, our Senior Cadets participated in the annual Orienteering Competition, where they had to navigate their way through HQ NCC and find several checkpoints using a compass and a map in the shortest time possible. Despite the physically-exhausting race, our Senior Cadets managed to complete 5 checkpoints and finished the course in 1 hour and 2 minutes!

Even though the Orienteering Team was unable to get a top 3 placing, we would like to congratulate them for a job well done! We are sure that it has been an enriching learning experience for the cadets and we are really proud of the amount of hard work that was put in! :)

The annual Air Competition organised by HQ NCC (Air) was held on Monday, 28 October 2013, in order to allow cadets to enhance their aeromodelling abilities. 6 aeromodellers from our school participated in this competition in the following categories:

Junior Cadets' Simulated Spot Landing:

Senior Cadets' Spot Landing:

Even though we did not manage to clinch any awards, we are still very proud of the effort and hard work that was put into the training and the competition itself by all the participants.

We look forward to the next Air Competition and hope to see our future batches of aeromodellers soar to greater heights! :)

In the recently concluded Senior Specialists' Course (West/Air District), held from 6 to 8 September, 5 of our Part C specialists did our unit proud by successfully passing out with the Staff Sergeant Rank. The 5 Part Cs are:

SSG Lee Xin
SSG Zhang Jia'en

Congratulations to our new batch of Senior Specialists and we believe that they will be able to bring our unit to greater heights!

Due to the haze in June, the Air Specialists' Course was cancelled and postponed till July. Hence, a Modular Specialists' Course was held, in which the IFC and PT tests were conducted in school by our CLTs while Trainfire, General Specialist Knowledge and Air Proficiency tests were conducted in HQ NCC.

We are proud to announce that all 10 Part Cs have successfully passed out of the course as specialists, with 8 of them attaining the 2SG rank.
