Today Gabby got to play in the snow for the first time! Except she didn't really play, she just ate the snow and whined about her puffy snow suit. Maybe she'll get used to it by the end of winter!

Carter did finally get to make her snowman though...isn't he cute?

Carter was sooo excited that it finally snowed.

She took off to go exploring. She said she was searching for the perfect tree. I think she has watched too many Christmas movies already.

When she came back, I noticed she looked a little taller.

That's because she had an extra inch of snow platforms on her boots. Carter calls them her ice skates.

...except without the leg lamp.

Carter has been sharing her extensive knowledge of Santa with me this past week. According to Carter...

-Santa likes to sleep in. This is because he is up all night bringing presents to little kids.
-All of the mall Santa's and the Santa pictured above are fake. You can tell because their beards come off.
-The real Santa lives at the North Pole and eats cookies and milk all day long. His favorite cookie is chocolate chip and his favorite milk is chocolate milk.
-Earlier this week she noticed that we do not have a hole in our house (a chimney). She said Santa could come through our front door. She must have been giving this a lot of thought because today she decided that we need to make a hole for Santa to come down and then he can go out through the front door. She said it's too hard to go back up a chimney.

I am thankful for Thanksgiving & the time to reflect on how blessed we are! Happy Turkey Day!

...Gabby's hair was mysteriously flat. I even gave her a bath which usually makes her hair flyaway.

...Carter is now starting to feel better after a rough night of stomach flu & fever.

...ASU & the Suns won which makes us all, especially Robert, very happy.

So I've been tagged a few times and decided to just combine them and make my own set of random questions...


1. Three biggest fears? Large bodies of water (anything bigger than a pool that you can't see the bottom of), Having my kids grow up too fast, the dark.
2. Are you a good liar? No, I can't keep a straight face.
3. Something you want to learn to do? Make homemade bread
4. If you have children, what's one thing that you always told yourself you'd never do when you had kids? Let them watch too much TV. We're getting better though.
5. What's something that totally grosses you out? Shots, IV's, needles, I'm getting light-headed just typing this.
6. The Olympics. Take them or leave them? Take Gymnastics, Ice Skating, Ski Jumping, Basketball, Diving etc. Leave Curling, Rhythmic Gymnastics
7. What's your favorite scent? Freshly mowed grass, rain, lavender baby lotion, dryer sheets
8. How many times a day do you check your email? Depends on the the day, sometimes 2 or 3 sometimes not at all.
9. Favorite Job? Boys & Girls Club or Piano Teacher, toss up. I guess I like the jobs that work with kids and not cranky customers.
10. Current projects? Family pics, Painting frames, Organizing office, Going through the girls clothes and taking out stuff they don't fit into anymore.
11. Favorite TV shows? The Office, What Not to Wear
12. Where would you like to go on vacation? Italy, Bahamas, Disneyland if the kids are coming
13. Laundry or dishes? Laundry, anyday.
14. What is your dream car? Just a really nice shiny Mercedes...black.

We had lots of fun dressing up with the Warrens this year! Even Gabby was a good sport wearing this extremely oversized dino costume ( the smallest one we could find). But hey, when candy is involved, she will cooperate.
