Gabby is in 2nd grade and has the same teacher Carter had for 2nd grade (which we are glad about)

Carter is in 4th grade with a brand new teacher. She had a new teacher last year as well and she was awesome. So far, her teacher this year seems great too!

And next year, all my kids will be in school! For now though, Nate is enjoying preschool and his mommy's attention :)

The annual Hamblin family Wimpledon tennis tournament was a success. Marshall and Chelsea proved victorious yet again, although we were back in 2nd place this year.

 

The Hunt reunion this year was really just a fun hangout weekend in St. George with Aunt Connie and Uncle Mike's family. There was lots of swimming and games and laughs...good times!

 

When we were passing through Boulder City, NV a few weeks ago, we stopped at the Mausoleum there to visit Robert's Grandma and Grandpa's burial sites. Carter was only 2 when Mema passed away and the other two kids had never been there, so it was a good experience for them. I'm thankful to know that families can be together forever.
 

 

 

 

Earlier this summer, we got a crazy monsoon that came through and turned the backyard into a lake in about 10 minutes. We love summer storms!

Our neighbor says it always rains on Pioneer Day, and in the 4 years that we have been here, it's happened every year. In Arizona, we'd take the rain over the sweltering heat any day!

Melina and her girls came to visit for a whole week this summer. It was a blast! One of the nights, the kids found this sweet little dog roaming the neighborhood and adopted him for the evening. The only pics I have of their visit are with the random dog. lol

Here's a pic of my baby sister with her baby! I love that Adelaide wore the bracelet that Carter and Gabby wore for their blesings and the shoes that Sophie wore for hers :)

 

We had a fun 4th in Mesa this year. We got to go to Despicable Me 2 with most of my family and then to watch fireworks together. We love the USA!
