Happy Father's Day

Well, I have always known that Sallie has the best daddy in the world, but I think she is beginning to realize it for herself......she loves to be with her dad! He can be so silly with her and make her laugh more than I can for sure. They have crawls races around the house, play peek a boo, build towers with toys, shop at Lowe's together, and I walked in the other day and they had all of Sallie's stuffed animals lined up along the couch and they were having a big party!! I love watching the two of them together. ( I especially like to see them interact in the middle of the night :-)

This was such a special day! We love Rich so much!

Sallie got her dad some grilling tools for Father's Day....don't worry, Richie got a haircut shortly after this picture was taken, whew!!

gettin ready....

I am not always able to wake up and get ready for the day before miss Sallie is "up and adam". The fun part is, she likes to get ready with me. She will sit up on the counter in the bathroom and play with her makeup bag while I put on my make up and dry my hair. She especially likes it when I curl my eyelashes....so cute!!

9 Month Checkup....check....

Spending a little time outside.

Saturday trip to the Farmer's Market

fun fun fun!!

I still can't believe those teeth!

Just wanted to recap some of the things Sallie does that are making us smile these days:

Sallie is now 9 months old and had a great check up with Dr. Denton(who we love!) She weighed in at 19llbs. 12oz. and is in the 75th percentile. However....she's still a shorty in the 25th percentile on height. She crawls all over the place and can move across the room in just seconds (gotta keep our eyes on her) She pulls up on tables, chairs, cabinets, just about anything she can. She has seven teeth (four on top and three on bottom) She plays patty cake and waves bye bye. She loves to be outside, play in her baby pool, and ride in her stroller. She doesn't mind wearing hats which I am sure you can tell she has on quite often. She loves to tear up paper into tiny pieces and then pick up the small shreds and inspect them. She likes to play with doorknobs ( I am afraid she is going to like taking them apart like her Dad) and she gets really excited when we walk up to light switches (she can turn the lights on and off)

My mom was in town to keep Sallie on Friday while I worked and was able to go to the doctor with us....thankfully, because we had to get one shot I and DO NOT like that one bit. The weekend was beautiful so we were able to spend some time out doors. Saturday morning we went down to the Fayetteville Square and shopped the Farmers Market. There were lots of people, but Sallie loved it. We had breakfast downtown at Uncle Gaylord's and then went home for a dip in the pool.....All firsts for Sallie. What a fund weekend!!
