Catching up again...

The boys started school August 6th. Britton is in 4th grade. He was bummed because the new Greenbay Packer shirt I ordered him didn't come in until the second day of school

We went to a co-worker of Dustin's in Garden Valley. We all had a great time playing in the water and getting to know the family better.

There were a bunch of frogs in the river. Benjamin has one in his hand.

Last weekend we went to Warm Lake with my parents. It was very relaxing and fun.

Dustin's cousin Jennifer joined us for one night too. The boys love it when she goes camping with us.

We went down to the water to try and fish for a while. Britton caught a little trout. We had better luck when we went out that night on our portable boat.

Britton loves fishing. he would spend all day, every day fishing if he could

Our new toy

The Richard's family got a boat and yesterday we took our maiden voyage. We all had a good time and I even drove the boat so Dustin could tube. We look forward to a lot of fun memories on the water!

I have never been so behind in my blogging! Our July flew by and now it's gone and not a single post was made! It's not for lack of things that we did.

We started off our July with our annual 4th of July camping trip. This year we went to Warm Lake and we called our camp "Camp Unity." We had a fun banner with a peace sign on it. Unbelievably, we left our camera home so all our pictures came from Dustin's phone. It was a very relaxing camping trip. We did a lot of fishing and game playing. We also went to an old family friend's cabin on the 4th of July as well as the 4th of July parade and fire works in Cascade.

We also took the boys to the rodeo and the Meridian Speedway races. Both were a lot of fun. We actually did the speedway twice in July. At the end of july we went to Utah to visit Dustin's dad and step mom. The older boys went fishing while Caden, grandma and me went garage saleing. Then the next day we all went garage saling together. Britton found some Green Bay packer stuff and Benjamin got a gumball machine so both boys were happy.

Now our summer is winding down and tomorrow in the boy's first day of school. We're still going to play a lot more before Fall but Britton's soccer practice starts this week too so we're going to have to slow down. Darn! We'll just have to find some great Fall activities to do too.
