Terriffic Two!

Today our Caden turned 2 years old.  We can't believe that he's been in our family for two years!  We sure love our little guy.  He is funny, sassy, sweet and always in control at our house.  We're excited to see what two brings us.  Happy Birthday Caden!

 Britton, Dustin and Caden
We celebrated Caden's birthday on Sunday after church.  After I changed his diaper he didn't want to put on pants so he went pantless the rest of the night.  My mom got Caden fuzzy crocks for his birthday and he loves them!  He wore them to bed with his footie pajamas and had them on in the morning!
Caden loves the electric toothbrush we got him.  He kept stealing the ones the other boys got in their stockings and he was so excited to get one of his own!
We got Caden a  radio flyer saucer that scoots around on the ground and he was super excited about it.  He scoots all over the house in it.

Tonight we had cake and cupcakes to celebrate Caden's birthday.  He really liked his cake!
Mmmmm!

Is this the scariest thing you've ever seen?
Happy Birthday Caden!

Date with Britton

Tonight was Britton's date night. We were going to go ice skating but last minute we decided to take him to the Humain Society to choose our newest family member.  When we first got there they didn't have any kittens but when we asked about it they said they were just getting ready to bring some out.  Then they brought out two super cute kitties.  One was grey and one was white and black.  They were so cute!  We liked them both and then they told us they actually had another litter that had been hiding.  Britton decided he wanted one of the black kitties. They were really young and quite a bit smaller than the others. They were also really shy.  The black and white kitty that we saw first was super playful and friendly. It was also a little bigger. Britton decided that it would probably be better for our family.

We brought him home and the other boys were so excited!  The poor kitten played and played all night.  He's exhausted now.  The dogs don't seem to bother him at all.  The dogs were pretty happy to see the cat but the cat was pretty chill about it.  In fact, the cat loves Kia.  He keeps trying to cuddle with her.  Our other cat, Con, on the other hand, wasn't nearly as impressed.  He's not feeling very happy right now.  We're hoping he'll get on board soon.  Britton also got to go to Golden Corral for dinner, which is his favorite place.  He was bummed we didn't have time to go ice skating but we've decided we'll take the boys on Monday.

Visiting the Humane Society was a good experience.  It took us about two hours but it was worth it.  We haven't chosen a name yet.  I want to name the cat Handel and Britton wants to name him Chevy.  I'll update when the name is final.

Date with Benjamin

 Benjamin and his Oreo pizza
Benjamin won the jackpot on this game twice in a row, which won him 900 tickets total!  He was so excited he said it was the best day of his life!
1350 tickets later, Benjamin got a big fox and some other junk.

It was Benjer's turn for a date with mom and dad.  He chose pizza and games at Big Al's, or Big Owls, as he calls it.  Benjamin loved the one on one attention. He talked and talked and played hard.  after Big Al's we stopped at Krispy Kreme for some donuts to take home.  What could be better than that?  Benjamin is a cute boy.  He is growing up so fast!
