Spring Break

This week is technically  my spring break. Of course, this means do homework due next week when I'm in Colorado and also start working on semester project. Woo. Jer's family came and went last week. We had a a good few days of hiking, shopping, and riding the Branson train. I didn't get to go see Uncle David and his girlfriend, Shaunda? Shonda? (not sure how it's spelled), b/c he came this past weekend.  I did get to see him via webcam at Mom's though, so that was nice. We got a new quilt for our bed. I'll will have to post pictures of it when we get it put on. It's gorgeous. We're quite proud of it. We actually saw it in a quilt store back in October. I was looking at the racks and Jer was looking at the display bed. We both said, "Come look at this one." at the same time and it was the same quilt. We thought that to be fate. :-) It's called the Aurora. Hopefully June's back claws won't hurt this quilt. Guess that's it for now.  Later taters!

Walter Moers

So, Jer and I really like this German author. We got hooked with the 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear. We think it's like a bedtime story for adults. It's so fun and imaginative. So, we're ordering it along with two others. Now there's one more out in English that we'd like to read, but I've not seen it for less than $70.  And, I really like books, but not that much. We didn't even pay that for the 4 books we ordered today. So, should any of you find A Wild Ride Through The Night by Walter Moers for a decent price, let me know!

Titles

So, here's the reason for the choice of usernames. RichLibrarian. My last name. That's it.  I mean, I am rich in spirit and whatnot, but that's pretty much it.

This weekend was interesting. Saturday was spent outside. Jer and I raked most of the yard. Jer also detailed his car. So, we were in much pain after a number hours and Sunday. What surprised me the most....my hands. They were bruised! I mean, how does this happen. You couldn't really tell it by look, but I couldn't put any pressure on my hands.  It still hurts today, but it is slowly getting better. Sunday was spent not moving too much. Jer did computer work. BTW, my sound is working again, so those with webcams, I can talk to you now. I went to April's to hang out and help her with math work. The hardest part was realizing how much geometry we both didn't remember. Good thing it told us afterward how to do it. I still stand that I never knew the ratio of the side lengths for a 30, 60, 90 triangle was 1:√3:2. (that's supposed to be a squareroot over the 3). Yesterday, our heater broke.....again. So, of all nights (the only one with snow for a while) we had no heat. It was the ignitor being corroded or something. It's fixed now. Yea! Yep, that's it. Bye.
