ok, so it's been almost a month. we've been doing things and being places. :-) is that good enough? no? ok, i guess i'll tell more. i've spent most of my days down with leslie knitting and listening to audio books. still looking for a job. jer's doing well with his job. he loves working at home. this past week, leslie and i went to help a fellow church member at her new library. she just started a new job at a local intermediate school (roughly our 6-7 grades). the previous librarian had some nutty way of putting the books on the shelves. one side would be normal, except that they went all the way across the row before moving to the next, rather than going down the column before moving to the next. on other shelves, it'd be backwards completely. the lower numbers would be on right side going left. so it'd be regular order on the shelf itself, but as a whole it was a nightmare! then, you could tell that the gave up towards the end of her stent of work b/c things were mixed in or wouldn't have call numbers at all. a couple of days later, jer and i visited a new restaurant. well, new to jer. i went 2 years ago when i came over with our friends. it's called dutch delight. it's great. pancakes sweet and savory. we loved it! i think the owner is from holland; he sells dutch food items on the side as well.
this weekend, we went to a youth/young adult camp called Focus. it was great! we had a good time learning and leading groups. there were some from Tauranga as well. the theme this year was "he has done". on sunday, the congregation comes out and has service there. we had a nice bbq afterward.
