*Buckles - car seat straps, high chair/booster seat straps - they keep her busy for awhile

She's also really into trying on our shoes, particularly mommy's because they usually have a little heel. Over the last couple of weeks she's been known to wander into our closet and try on whatever she can get her hands on...princess dresses, here we come!
We are also on the cusp of potty training in our house. Riley is definitely interested in it, but really she just wants to watch and "help" by providing toilet paper and flushing. Beware, if you are at our house and she notices that you might be in the bathroom, you may have a friendly little helper knocking at your door!
Her vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds. It's so amazing to see her try and put sentences together and answer questions. On our car rides home, I ask her how her day was and what she did - it's so cool when she responds with different things she did! Her newest thing is to say "bess you" whenever someone sneezes! She has also been saying "hold you" quite a bit these days, particularly to mommy (she's teething and just needs some mommy comfort). Oh, how could I forget! Riley now tells us "Iuvu" (I love you) with such enthusiam - it's the sweetest thing ever!
Look's like I need to really get moving on planning a 2nd birthday party!
