We headed to Helotes’ annual Cornyval last night to watch this guy brave mutton bustin!  Here are some before pictures of the cutest and bravest little cowboy!

And here is the after picture.  No pics of the mutton bustin because the sheep knocked Dalton off right out of the gate.  But this guy was such a sport and was thrilled that he got a cool trophy and t-shirt!

We celebrated Granny’s birthday recently with a low key evening at my parent’s house.  Here’s our best attempt at a picture of Granny with all the grandkids.

Riley made a birthday card for her granny and she was beyond excited to share it with her!

Look who’s figured out how to “drive” the gator!  Poor uncle Jeff had the pleasure of chasing after Braden as he kept steering into things.

Happy Birthday to the best Granny there is!!

Braden has recently taken to opening and closing doors.  He’ll reach up on his tip-toes and close a door, then open it back up with a huge grin on his face saying “hi…eee”!

Riley and her buddy Savannah recently started “ginastics” and she is loving it!

She has mastered the forward roll and is currently working on cart wheels and flipping over the bar.  Every chance she gets, she’s trying to swing on a bar or pull herself up on something as if she were in gymnastics!

Now that we’ve gone through the entire alphabet, Riley is feeling pretty confident in her letter writing.  Her newest thing is writing notes to people, and I was the lucky recipient of her first note!  She’s constantly asking “how do you spell …?” and writing something to someone.  Love this girl more than words can express :)
