Just a cute picture of my boy.......
A couple of weeks ago Jackson finally started to crawl, (like normal) and pull himself up onto things...it only took him 11 months! :) It is so cute to watch him get around and explore. It's like he has discovered a whole new world. Surprisingly, he seems to enjoy pulling himself up and standing even more than crawling, and he looks sooo proud of himself when he is successful at his climb.
THE DRAWBACK.....he has decided that he would rather pull himself up in his crib and yell until I come in to see him... over and over and over again, instead of taking his naps. WHAT A FUN GAME, ummmm...not so much. I would try my hardest not to go in his room, but I just couldn't help it. When I would peak in, his face would just be glowing with delight and when he would see me, he would just giggle and giggle.
I'm sure every mother has gone through this fun phase. Hopefully once the excitement of his new skill has faded he will go back to napping like normal.

We had so much fun spending the last couple of weeks with our families! It was so fun to go to all the Christmas parties, play games just about every night, go to movies, and have grandparents babysit so we could go out a lot!!
Jackson got to see his cousins and second cousins! He is giving Alivia a huge open mouth kiss, which I thought was so funny!
Jackson loved getting lots of new toys for Christmas!
We went skiing/snowboarding with my family, which was SO FUN! We hadn't been in a couple of years and I'd forgotten how much I love it!
Girls night out!! I love getting together with my girlfriends that I don't get to see very often.
