Fun at the Park

Jacks had fun playing with his buddy Kenadie at the park. They both loved the swings, they just giggled and giggled. They're just so cute, I couldn't help but take a bunch of pictures.

Kenadie didn't want to wear her cute hat...

but Jackson loved wearing it. Silly boy!

Jackson and Kenadie play about every week. It's so nice to have a friend just up the street!

I think Jacks has a while before he will be walking, but he is standing by himself. Yay, it's progress! Even though it's still exciting, I'm really not anxious for him to walk. I want him to stay my baby as long as possible!

Mom's Visit

My mom came out to Vegas to take me shopping for my birthday. It was the BEST!! I was so excited to go shopping, 'cause I haven't been forever. We both got some really cute stuff! We also went for a little hike in the blazing sun, which was okay since my mom needed to defrost from the cold Utah winter. She was so happy to finally get warm! I also took her to Blue Man Group since we were able to get some free tickets, and she enjoyed watching those weird blue mimes. Thanks mom for visiting and for the birthday fun! Stopping to play with the rocks....and so my mom could rest, since she carried him the whole way. Hey, whatever will give ya a work out!
This was at the top of the hill. You can see how tired Jackson is from being in the sun. He napped well after that!

Happy Birthday to Me and My Hubs

Nathan's Birthday was Yesterday and mine is on St. Patty's Day, so we usually celebrate together. Our camera was our birthday present, but my sweet cousin offered to babysit so that we could go out and celebrate. We usually don't go to the strip unless we are with people that visit or seeing a show, but we decided to go to a restaurant that we love, called Isla in the Treasure Island Hotel. It's really yummy Mexican, they have the best chips and salsa and a burrito made with filet mingon steak, it's so good! Then we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris, just cause we've never done it. Then we sinned a little, and Nathan threw down $20 at blackJack to see if he could win me some money for a shopping spree. Only $40, but better than nothing. He might not be happy I posted that, cause he really never gambles.
It seems weird to be turning 26, because I still feel so young, and I can't believe Nathan is 31!! He is still 24 at heart. He is such a good husband and daddy! Wish him luck with his last couple months of law school, the BAR coming up and finding a job. He has a lot of busy and stressful things going on right now, but he is still always happy, helpful and makes time to spend with Jacks and I. We love you Nathan, and Happy Birthday!!

Enjoying the Simple Things

Ya gotta love the simple things in life, like cake batter first thing in the morning. Jackson's enjoying his first taste, and he loved it!
Jackson is so happy to sit in the sun and look at the rocks in our backyard.
Of course, he has to see what they taste like.Darn it...time to come inside. So devastating!

Just some pics

I got a new camera that I'm really excited about! I've been playing around with it....and really, I still don't have a clue how to use it properly. There are so many buttons, and options that are so confusing to me right now, but I'm trying to figure it all out.
I put my hat on Jackson thinking he would pull it right off, but he actually liked it and kept it on, so I ran and got the camera before he decided he didn't like it anymore. We've had some fun being outside the past few days, since we have had really nice weather.
This is how Jackson hugs Coco, he lays his head on her. He has started doing this with other babies, but it comes off as more of a head butt, which I don't think they appreciate very much... he means well :)

Yes, my dog does have eyes:)
