We had a fabulous time in Puerto Rico. It was a great Christmas present from Nathan's parents and we loved every minute of it!
We stayed in San Juan at a really nice Marriot Hotel. Our room had gorgeous ocean views and we were right on the beach. We spent a lot of time just relaxing in the sun and playing in the water....oh, so nice!

Day 1: We took a boat to an Island (I can't remember the names of all the different places we went) and then an off roading, wild bus ride to see the bioluminescence bay. It is one of the only places in the world where you can see this phenomenon, where any movement in the water will glow a bright blue/green color. So we took a boat out in the bay and swam under the moon. It was so cool to be covered in green, glowing beads.
Day 2: We spent the day sailing to a couple of different islands and snorkeling. This was by far the highlight of the trip for me. Nathan and I have always wanted to sail, and we LOVE to snorkel. Is was so fun and relaxing, and the scenery was amazing! Plus, we were on our own private sail boat with just our family and two captains. Not crowded with a ton of other people like some tours. The snorkeling was amazing too. We were swarmed with fish, and saw some neat things, like a puffer. I can't wait to go sailing again!

Day 3: We went to Nathan's Family crypt to bury his grandma. The cemetery was so awesome. It is so old that they are making it a historic cemetery. It was really neat to see where Nathan's roots are from and take his grandma back to her home land.
Then we went to the rain forest. Gorgeous!

Day 4: We went to Old San Juan and saw the sights. This town is so beautiful! We saw the old Spanish fort and walked through the historic streets. Then we went back to the hotel and had a Thanksgiving dinner buffet.
Day 5: Relaxing on the beach, then went back to Old San Juan and did some more sight seeing and shopping.
