Our New House

We just closed on our new house today! We are really excited, and anxious to get all moved in this weekend.
We did A LOT of house hunting and I think that we found a great house for us. Sometimes I still can't believe that I live in a relatively small town in Idaho. I just always thought that I would live in Utah, but It's been a really easy transition for me. Nathan and I feel very fortunate that he has such a great job, and a job that he really enjoys. He is home everyday at 5:30 and earlier on Fridays, and he never works on the weekends. For a new attorney, that is pretty unheard of, I really couldn't ask for anything more than that. Plus we are close to our families!! Nathan's parents are in town and my family is just two hours away. That has really been such a blessing!
Here are some pictures of our house. Obviously, it's just empty right now.

Basement...Office area/play area to the right. Entertainment area straight ahead. Then we have three more rooms, a bathroom and storage that is unfinished in the basement. So we have some room to grow.

Catch Up

I have really been a slacker lately! We have been really busy with the holidays, then a lot of sickness (Yuck!), house hunting and now the moving process is coming up! We are really excited about our new house, I will post pictures of it soon.
Before all of that, I thought I'd post a few pictures from Christmas, (a little overdue). I really didn't take very many pictures at all, I was having too much fun.
We spent Christmas with my family in Utah since we were in Puerto Rico with Nathan's family over Thanksgiving. On Christmas Eve we went skiing, (Nathan and I went snowboarding), and I got a cute new pink snowboard. I decided I must not be in very good shape because I was SO sore the next few days I could hardly move.
That night we went to my g & g Crookston's house for a Christmas Eve party. It was so fun to see family that I don't get to see very often.
The family made this Christmas tree for my grandparent's present. It had pictures of EVERYONE in the family. I think there were over 72 people, and they were all toddler pictures. It turned out so cute, and of course brought my sweet grandma to tears.

Nathan's parent's gave Jackson this cool basket ball hoop. He was SO excited, he totally loves anything sports!

Jackson was so much fun this Christmas. He was really into unwrapping presents.
Don't ya love my dad's outfit here! :-)

In the middle of opening all of his NEW presents, Jacks suddenly stopped, and went and got my mom's toys (that he plays with all the time) and set up a little village in the living room and played. I thought it was so funny, so much for anything new.

Typical Jacks!

This kid is obsessed with being outside, he cannot get enough. The only problem is it's freezing!! My mom is so good about taking him out when I'm a woos.

Jackson loves this table I got him for Christmas. He plays play-Do, with puzzles and colors everyday. Yes, it is pink, but I have since painted it an aqua blue, and it's so cute!

The day was so fun, eating good food, and prime rib, just hanging out and then staying up till one in the morning playing Settlers of Catan, Knights and Cities with my brother and sister-in-law.
