Sherri and I decided it would be awesome to meet half way between our homes and spend the night. Se took Isaac and Luke back with her for a week. I want to do the same thing and have Luke come here sometime. The drive seemed totally doable.

The boys swam in the hotel pool.

We went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant that was very good. Sherri's food was served on an enormous plate! It was almost funny.

It was good food in a raucous environment, with tons of flies!!

Joe's birthday

Joe turned 23. Ron, Seth, Isaac, and Luke drove to Provo to see Joe. Kelsey, Matt, and Elodie met us at Joe's apartment. They brought him a cheesecake that Matt had made. What a great cook Matt is. Anyway, we decide to go eat at a place called Mooyas. It was a burger place. I gave Joe a string tie that I got from Grandpa Carey when he passed away. I think he had a great day.

Jami and Layne had me watch their children while they attended girls camp for a few days. We enjoyed a while at our Kaysville splash pad. It was a very very hot day so the water felt good. Liam insisted on wearing floaties, haha. There wasn't any water deeper than about an inch:).

Zach is baptised on July 4th

July 4th we spent about an hour passing out coupons for Noble Romans at the parade route in Layton. I thought it was so incredibly hot. Ron thought it was fun talking to all of the people. We passed out about 1000 coupons. I hope we see a good result from that this coming week. I was surprised at how willing people were to take the coupon. Very few people refused them. Our pizza business is sinking so I hope this helps.

On another happy note, we drove up to Tiff and Marks with Jami and her kids for the day to go to Zach's baptism. It was a great meeting. The kids really enjoyed it also. It is hard to believe little Zachy is 8 years old.It was a quick trip but it was fun. On the way home we saw fireworks in many places as we drove. The kids really thought that was cool.

Grandpa Carey's funeral

My 99 year old Grandpa Carey passed away this month. He was sure struggling this last year. I'm glad he is in a better place. A positive thing was having family around for the funeral in Utah. Sherri, Scott, Matt and Chelsey's family, Brianna, Kaisa, Luke, Greg, Sarah, Steve and Mom and Dad came.Sure love this family!
