Another Christmas Blog

I'm sure this is the millionth Christmas blog you'll see but this is how ours went.
We started out Christmas Eve talking to Clint's brother who is on his mission in London. He gets home in May and we are so excited! Then we had breakfast at Clint's sister Brooke's house.
Then Christmas morning Clint and I opened our own presents at home and then headed up to start the day.
We went back to Brooke's and opened all the family presents and got to visit with them for a few hours and eat until we had to leave to my parents house to eat again and talk to my brother who is on his mission in Chile. He has been gone a year now so just one year left!!! Then we opened presents, and soon after, Clint and I had to drive home to feed all the horses and bring them in the barn since it was so cold.
We didn't get to spend much time with either family but we sure love them and are so thankful to have them in our lives. It gets to be a pain to have so many things to do and so many places to go but we really to love being with family!

We had a soccer girls party. This is Courtney, Dox, Me, Jill, Candice, Sarah, Tasha, Megan, Halston, and Dani.

Of course we had a White Elephant gift giving which was funny as usual and this was Tasha's present that Candice got. Probably the best I've seen! It was actually the one some girls wanted ha ha!

Tell me this isn't the cutest girl ever! She is 7 months pregnant and it literally looks like she put a ball in her shirt.

TOP OF THE LEADER BOARD

Clint came back to win the 9th round with a 7.3 second time. And yes, the same time he won the other round with. His chances for the world were slim after a no time, but he showed his stuff off when he won the round. After all the hard work we are so proud to say he ended 4th in the world!

OH YES HE DID!!!!!

HE JUST WON ROUND 3 LAST NIGHT!!!!

On stage at the buckle ceremony. They bring out each contestant one at a time and ask questions and talk to them about their run, or ride, for a few minutes. It was cool because it was packed in there. You couldn't even walk through because there were so many people watching it.

Yeah Yeah Yeah!!!

These pictures are in the wrong order, but clint has been doing awesome! He split 3rd in the first round and won second in the 2nd round! He is roping awesome and I am excited to see what's to come.

This is him the first round winning 3rd! It was a great run, he was 7.8 seconds!

Representing Utah!!! They have all the cowboys ride in the arena for the Grand Entry and the highest money winner from their state carries their state flag!

The back number ceremony. These girls are my best friends! All their husbands are in the Calf Roping as well.

Hunter, RJ, and Clint accepting their backnumbers. These are the two we traveled with all year and it worked out great, they are second, third and fourth in the world!! Clint was number 6. The highest number he's had so far! They do it on total money won in combined events. Its a whole dinner party and is the first time we all get together when you get to vegas, so it's always a fun night!

IT'S HERE!

Ok everyone the NFR ( national finals rodeo, for those who don't know) is finally here! Clint works hard all year to win enough to make it here, so we are so excited! He is 4th in the world going into it, which is awesome. They take the top 15 in the world, and announce the world champion in each event the last day. So wish us luck! The first round starts tonight and it goes 10 rounds total. You can watch it on tv everynight but the last. I think:) I'll try to keep updated!

"OH CANADA"

Had to put this up isn't he the cutest ever!

We went to Calgary for the Canadian Tour Finals and I got this picture of Ledger. We went up with Nate and Meggan Baldwin and of course their little guy Ledger who Clint absolutely loves. It was so fun, we love hanging out with them!

While we were up ther the boys went to help at the "Special Rodeo". They each had a "Special" child they would take around to different stations in the arena. This one station was a steer they could get on. I know... HUGE! Clint was helping some of the kids get up, he had to help quite a few because he was bigger and stronger than most helping!

he liked the horse maskot that walked around.

This is Clint, Nate and their two kids they took around. Clint had the girl and Nate had the boy. They were brother and sister. It was so funny because the girl just kept taking pictures of her brother and wouldn't participate, and she kept telling him what he was going to do next. It was so funny to see these two guys try to entertain them because they had to do whatever the kids wanted to do. And even funnier, Clint totally soaked it all up! He just kept looking over at me and laughing because the kids were so funny!

And by the way the cutest pregnant girl ever! Wish I had a picture to prove it.

Ok the reflectors on our trailer are out of control in this picture! But this is Clint and Jake after winning the second round together at the Circuit Finals in Ogden!!! So fun to have two best friends win on the same night! Jake won the Steer Wrestling and Clint won the Tie Down Roping. I'm so glad we got pictures of them in their cute pink shirts on "Pink Night".

DOGS FOR SALE!!!!

Okay not really but these two sweet innocent dogs did all this...

Clint and I had BBQ Ribs for dinner. I threw them away, well I put them in a garbage bag but Clint cleaned out our garbage can earlier and it was drying outsied, so I tied a bag to my cabinets. Well I went on a run and came back and this is what I found, they ripped the entire sack apart and got both paper plates, licked them clean, went through the rest of our trash and spread it all over the floor, took all the bones (still coverd in BBQ sauce) and carried them over to the carpet and chewed them to little pieces. That's not even the worst part, this is the second time they have done this exact thing. You think I would learn.

And these pictures don't even justify what it really looked like. I thought I was going to have to hire a professional to come clean my carpets.

MY SOCCER GIRLS!

It was so good so see my soccer girlies!!! It's been a while since we have all gotten together but we finally did and it was so much fun. We went to Cafe' Rio and stayed and talked for hours. It's amazing to see how much everyone has changed and what they are doing now. I'd have to say I am very impressed with everyone! Hope more girls can come next time we get together. Love you girls!!
