Lane.

I decided against taking my younger two boys up  to have their pictures taken on "school picture day."  I hate paying $21.00 for a packet with all the same picture.....and you are never guaranteed a good smile.  Anyway, I took Lane out in the back yard and snapped some classic Lane faces.  I took a bunch....this is just a few.  My camera is a simple point and shoot, nothing fancy.  I am sure the quality could be better, but it is good enough for me. I will attempt to take some of Griffin next week.....wish me luck.

Love this kid......most days  :)

Eight is Great!

Alex turned eight years old back on July 27th.  Well, this weekend we were finally able to baptize him.  It was his special day....a new suit, a "real tie" that doesn't clip on, and new scriptures with his name on them.  We had lots of family members there to share his baptism day.  He felt very loved.

Getting ready to leave for the church....

Alex was baptized by his dad.

After the baptism we had a luncheon.
Grandma Sandra is always there to show her love and support.

My mom and her brother Dave, with Alex.

We had a display of Alex throughout his eight years.  There was a picture starting at 2 months and then each year up to the present.

The family.....
Thanks to everyone for being there and showing love to Alex.  He had a wonderful experience.  Thanks for the nice gifts too.  We are so blessed to belong to such a great family!

Aunt Joanne

My sweet Aunt Joanne passed away on Sunday night.  We were not expecting this.  She went in for gallbladder surgery last week.  There were some complications that followed and her body could just not recover.  She is now with Uncle Karl, that brings me peace.  This photo was taken at her 80th birthday last year at this time.  I love you Aunt Joanne.....
