Alex and Lane both wanted to participate in the school talent show...so they did! Alex demonstrated a little bit of Kung Fu Fighting with a Bo Staff and Lane busted a move on the stage floor with some high energy hip hop!

After the talent show we rushed off to the Annal Pinewood Derby! This was the masterpiece created by Andy and Alex... Many hours were spent starring at this car, spinning the wheels, making adjustments, spinning the wheels again, adding weight, taking away weight, more spinning of the wheels...you get the idea!

Let's just say there was controversy... We won 3 out of the 4 races but after a couple re-races, the wheel came off. It ended up in 4th place. Whatever!! :)
Alex took the loss much better than Andy! LOL!
