Christmas Part 3: Concan

Grandma and Grandpa with their kids: Lester, Nelva, Lydia, Richard, Norma, Sulema, and Hugo Jr.
The Rodriguez Clan with the birthday boy and Grandma.

I loved the Mariachi singer, especially her guitar!

Grandpa and his "girls."

Grandpa and his "boys".

Great Grandpa Hugo turned 80! So after Christmas in Temple, we drove to Concan for the day. His party was at a lodge near their ranch. His whole family was there, including all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren!

Christmas Part 2: Temple

What a great Christmas!!
This box was so much fun!

Look at Mommy and Daddy in their p.j.s!

My most favorite gift of all is Elmo----he sings and dances to the Chicken Dance song!

I like my penguin push toy.

Wow, look what Santa brough me!

On Christmas Eve, we went to church. It was so long---2 hours! But I was a very good girl.

After Plano, Mommy and I met Daddy in Temple. This was where we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I had fun playing in Grandpa's trailer!

Christmas Part 1: Plano

Dancing with Aunt Lori!
Reading the Christmas Story from the Bible with my cousins.

PawPaw, Patrick, Me, Mark, and Nana.

Playing in my new tunnel with Patrick.

Aunt Lori and Uncle Mark gave me my very own horse! I've named him Bodie, of course.

Patrick got a neck pillow for Christmas. I was a bit jealous, so I made one out of tissue paper!

Patrick is so good at playing the piano! He can play Jingle Bell Rock with even looking at the sheet music!

My Christmas started with a flight to Plano to see Nana and Paw Paw. Mommy says I got an A+, I was so good! I read books, played with stickers and playdough, and ate snacks. Now I'm ready to go to DisneyWorld!

Grandma Conseulo's 80th Birthday Bash

I love walking around the ranch with my Tio Canuto.
Ride'm Cowgirl!

No fears!

I took a siesta with my Papa.

Go Grandma, hit that pinata!!!!

Me, Daddy, and my Grandma Conseulo. (Isn't Daddy handsome!!!)

Grandma turned 80!!! They threw a big shindig in Eagle Pass with lots of relatives and yummy food. The weather was perfect for an outside party!

My cousin Roman introduced me to ice. Now I love to play with it and eat it!

BBF's

I am one LUCKY girl!!!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving with the Jackson's (Turkey Day #2). We also celebrated Gramma's 91st Birthday!!!

I wonder what they're watching? Baby Einstein? Elmo? Who are the Cowboys?

I'm hanging out in Mommy's old crib.

First, we celebrated Thanksgiving in Gunter with 55 of our Block relatives. Yes, 55!!! These were Nana's aunts, cousins, second-cousins, etc. The Block Thanksgiving tradition has been occuring since 1976, started by Mimi and her 2 sisters. Now it takes place at Uncle Johnny's and Aunt LaJuana's house. There are so many of us, they set up tables in the garage for the "kids" (i.e. any under the age of 40).

Houston Zoo

Mommy and Daddy took for a quick trip to the zoo. My favorite part is the petting zoo, because I can run around and pet the goats. The carousel was fun, but just a bit scary. Good thing Daddy was there to make sure I wouldn't fall!

Let's Check the Mail!

I love to check the mail! Just give me the keys, and I will show you exactly what to do. See that box I'm pointing to? That's really our box, #8!!! It's a good thing ours is on the bottom row, otherwise we might have to conference with the postmaster.

Luke Comes to Visit

My buddy Luke came to stay with me for a few days. My Mommy and his Mommy are old college pals. We had fun playing and sharing sippy cups!
