Sleeping Beauties

My girls may be terrible eaters, but they are great sleepers! And they will fall asleep wearing some crazy stuff!  At my parents house over Thanksgiving, Julia insisted on sleeping with her princess crown, scarf, and fancy shoes.

Rudolph, I mean Olivia, went to sleep with her antlers and red nose!

Christmas Morning

Our family had a fabulous Christmas morning. Olivia woke up first when she heard Santa's bells on the roof. She then woke up her sister and they ran out to see their gifts. They both got candy, puppies, purses, and much much more! It melted our hearts to see them so happy and even sharing! Christmas Day was our 8th day to be gone from home, so after lunch, we loaded up our car and headed home. Both girls were anxious to get home to see their kitties and play with their new toys.   This was the longest we have ever been gone from home, but I have to say it went really well. We are so thankful for our safe travels, our loving family, and the special memories made during this Christmas Season.

Jackson Christmas

Christmas #2 was celebrated at my parents house with Lori and her family. Poor Julia was sick with a cough, runny nose, and fever.

Luckily, she didn't have to leave the house that day and was able to still have fun opening her presents.

Aunt Lori gave the girls a "halo". Doesn't Olivia look like an angel?

We all had fun putting on hats for our family picture. Mark Jr. is the only one missing, he was still teaching in Louisiana.

After dinner and gifts, we went to Festival of Lights in McKinney at the Heard Museum. Julia and Daddy stayed home becuase it was too cold for our sick baby.

Olivia loved the nature walk!

Mommy and Olivia. T-Rex doesn't scare us!

Olivia, Nana, and the soldier on stilts. This guy followed us everywhere!

Nana and Paw Paw and the guy on stilts again!

Lori and I wearing our Plano Wildcat Toboggans from the 80's. My Mom still has all 4 of them, just in case!
 Hot chocolate time!

Autry Christmas

We celebrated Autry Christmas in Denton at my Aunt Paula's house. Julia wasn't feeling great, but still managed to snuggle with everyone.

We sang Christmas carols using various instruments. The coffee cans and spoons were everyones favorites!

All the kids recieved one gift. Olivia got a bird book called "Olivia Saves the Gulf". She loves birds just like her Nana!

Julia loved her set of Dora the Explorer books.

Santa Claus

Cesar's company had a Kid's Christmas Party and Santa came to visit! Olivia told him she wanted 3 things: a Barbie puppy vet kit, I Sparkle make-up, and a Littlest Pet Shop airplane.
Julia was scared to death of him and would NOT sit on his lap.
But she did tell him "thank you" when he gave her a toy!

Olivia and a few other girls karyoked to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!

Julia

My sweet girl is as cute and wild as ever! We hardly ever get great pics of her because she is always in the go, but here are some cute ones that show her silly personality!

I took this picture of her eating her  meat! My parents have a picture just like this of me, putting out my hand so I would know how much to eat, because I never liked to eat my meat. Julia is a picky eater too, but she ate really good this night!

Thanksgiving in Temple

We had a second Thanksgiving in Temple with the Rodriguez Family. The girls had a wonderful time playing with their cousins, Becca and Roman.

The girlies "resting".

All together, even if it was only for 7 hours! What a blessing!!!

Thanksgiving in North Texas

We had a great time in Plano and Gunter for Thanksgiving! We spent lots of time with Nana, Paw Paw,  Aunt Lori, Uncle Mark, Patrick, and Mark.

Mark a.k.a. Huck Finn decided to show Patrick how to shimmy up a huge tree. Boy, is he brave!

He even ripped his favorite shirt climbing the tree so Nana sewed it right up for him!

Here is the Jackson Family in Gunter celebrating Thanksgiving. What a blessing that we can all be together for this!

Pajama Day!

Our church had a pajama day for the kids. I just love footy pajamas and I just love these girls!

Done!

She sure looks happy here, but that was not the case for most of this soccer season. Olivia really wanted to play soccer, but soon discovered she does not like to run! She would much rather twirl around, hold hands with her friends, or eat snacks. We are very proud that she did her best, but I am so glad this season is over! No more tears, bribery, or frustration! Even Daddy, who we all know loves soccer, was ready for it to be over!
