Olivia was very excited to start first grade! She loved meeting her teacher, Mrs. Rosser. She is super nice and an Aggie! Olivia was also excited that she already knew 6 or 7 kids in her class.

First day of school!

Olivia and Mrs. Rosser

Olivia had a great first day of school! She was most excited that Mrs. Rosser let her borrow a book (Littlest Pet Shop) because she promised she would return it. And she can't wait to earn tickets for "sock feet", computer time, and treasure box!

Big Girl Desk!

Olivia has been asking for a desk for a while now, so we decided to surprise her this summer with a big girl desk and new furniture! She loves her new furniture and really takes pride in keeping her room clean now. And she especially loves arranging things on her desk and bulletin board below the hutch. The girl is saver and loves to keep anything and everything, especially ticket stubs, fliers, and papers!

The Big D

In July, we made our annual summer trip to Dallas to stay with Nana and Paw Paw and visit family and friends. We stayed for 7 nights, and the time flew by so fast. I swear we could stay an entire month and never get bored or run out of things to do! We always visit family, friends, eat at yummy restaurants, go to Braums, play at the tank park, go shopping, stay up late, sleep in, and swim. The north Texas heat didn't stop us one bit!

The boys went on a fishing trip to Lake Texoma, but didn't have any luck. 6 hours on the lake with a fishing guide and ZERO fish!

Our fish fry quickly changed to picking up BBQ and hanging out by the pool. The girls LOVE Aunt Lori's diving board.

Olivia finally had a chance to perfect her dive, since our pools in Silverlake do not allow diving.

Happy Birthday to Olivia and Daddy!

My parents took Olivia and I to see the play, "Annie", in Richardson. It was wonderful and we loved it! Olivia is so proud that she got her picture taken with Jordan, who played Annie. She is only 12 years old was is an amazing little singer and actress!

The girls and I went to Decatur for a sleepover with our friends Annika, Andrew, and Suzanne! We had such a great time catching up and hanging out in the country!

My mom took her girls (me, Lori, Olivia, and Julia) to get pedicures one morning. This was Julia's first time and she loved it! She wanted pink, of course!

Olivia chose blue, her favorite color.

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful Nana and Paw Paw in our lives! We love you so much and love to visit you! Thank you for spoiling us all!

Rodriguez Day Spa

Olivia got a pedicure set for her birthday. After our first day at VBS, I pampered the girls with a foot massage, scrub, bath salts, and pedicure. It even came with the little things to put between your toes and pink flipflops! What a cute idea as a gift and a fun way to spend time with my girls!

Rockadilly!

We had an amazing time at Rockadilly VBS this year!

Julia loved going to the Big Show like all of the big kids!

The actors and skits are hilarious! We have some wonderful talent and Second Baptist South Campus!

But most of all, the girls learned that God Knows Us! God Wants Us! God Loves Us! And God has a plan for us!

Happy 6th Birthday, Olivia!

Olivia had a fabulous and busy 6th birthday! She opened presents, headed to church, ate lunch at McDonalds, and went to Petsmart to pick out 2 gerbils. Olivia named her Carrot, Julia named hers Gabi. They are brothers, and as gentle and sweet as can be!

Then we celebrated at Sweet and Sassy with 8 of her friends! They all got makeovers, costumes, manicures, danced on stage, and walked the runway!

Our divas sure know how to walk the runway and strike a pose!

Happy Birthday, Precious Girl!
