The stuff she made. So chun. :)
Oh, right. And this is for Su Li. LMAO.We got lost on our way to Hui Ching's house; too many turnings. D: When we finally arrived, the houses in her neighbourhood didn't look like houses - they looked like SHOWhouses. :O
Standing at the door welcoming us were Hui Ching and her Shih Tzu, Poppy. Co Ra immediately rushed towards Poppy and held her. And me? I took off my lens cap and started pointing and shooting. LOL. I was blown away when I stepped into Hui Ching's house. MY DREAM HOUSE! :O (Okay, not really, but still.)
AND YOU SHOULD SEE HUI CHING'S ROOM! WTH, I HATE HER FOR HAVING SUCH AN AWESOME ROOM! SO UNFAIR! HERS IS A HUNDRED TIMES NICER THAN MINE! >:(
As we reached there quite early, we explored her house with Poppy following at our heels. We entered her sister's room and looked around. "Look to your left," she said. And we did. Guess what we saw?
A WHOLE WALL OF FERNANDO TORRES! Obviously, Hui Ching's sister is more obsessed with him compared to her. Then, we played with Poppy. She's a real manja dog.
Well, I thought she was. Until she started licking our legs non-stop, WTH. -_-
MEGA GROSS. D: But she seems to be enjoying it. Eww.
Too bad Co Ra couldn't resist Poppy. Motherly love. Hahahaha. While waiting for the others to come, we chatted a while, watched TV and played around with my cammie. Some shots are beaaautiful, I must say! :]
Personally, I love those three pictures A LOT. Seriously, since when did I get so good in taking professional pictures? "Since the day you got your DSLR." Shuddup. Shush. Don't state the obvious. I must be a natural. :P Anyway, while playing around with my cammie, I showed Co Ra what my DSLR could do - like rotating the viewfinder 360°.
She looked so amazed, hahaha. And that's when she started camwhoring while looking at herself in the viewfinder. Camwhoring made easy. (Y)Co Ra treated us to a few lollies she'd brought from home and we played cards for a while. I showed her a magic trick taught by Fei Ya. :)
Finally, all the peeps came. Before taking a stroll around her neighbourhood, we took one last picture. Hahahaha.
The houses in her neighbourhood are very distinct and unique. They each have their own sense of style... and weirdness. :S
I also found some interesting stuff during our walk. Just some random stuff but IDK why they inspired me to take pictures of them.
Right, did I mention Poppy also followed us? But she had her OWN pram; she no longer need to walk on her four paws. Hui Ching told me the pram cost around RM500. Poppy is a real spoilt brat. *rolls eyes*
We headed back as soon as we got a call from Jia Chi and Yvonne saying they'd already arrived. We saw them crouching behind a big bush, trying to hide from view. Hahaha, failed attempt.
Then, we had barbecue for dinner. Rawrrr.
Although the sausages ran out as soon as they were cooked, Jia Chi, Co Ra, Yvonne and I enjoyed not one, not two, not three, but FOUR barbecued stingrays! Scrumpdidlyumptious! Hui Ching, sorry for finishing all your food; we just couldn't help ourselves. ;) We went back in after filling our stomachs and the karaoke-ing began.
A few minutes later, Jia Chi had to go back. :( She offered to take pictures with us - A MIRACLE! SHE DOESN'T LIKE POSING FOR PICTURES! - so of course we grabbed the golden opportunity and rushed to take pictures with her.
Teehee. :BActually, I have more pictures but I am so lazy to upload all of them. They're taking an ultra long time to load. D: Anyway, Co Ra's parents came at around 9.30pm so we were one of the earliest to go back. Ah, well. It was fun while it lasted. :']
Hui Ching, many thanks to you for inviting me to your belated birthday party! :D (Sorry for not getting you anything; I feel so embarrassed. D:) And to the rest, thank you so much guys for the jolly good time we'd had together! I'll miss you all! :')

Whenever we got engaged in a really interesting conversation, my parents just HAD to change the topic and make the situation so awkward. Here's one good example of a weird conversation I'd gone through recently with my parents...
Mum : Sooo... Do you like anyone? (stares)
Me : What?
Mum : Do you LIKE anyone?
Me : Define "like".
Dad : Like, as in do you fancy any guys from your school? Kwang Hua or Sri KL, that doesn't matter.
Me : You mean like, like like?
Dad : Okay, have you ever liked anyone before?
Me : Uhhh, of course not.
Mum : Last time? No? Never? EVER?
Me : Why are you guys even asking me these questions? -_-
Mum : What kind do you like? Funny, nice, handsome...
Me : O_O'''
Dad : Or easygoing, fun, studious...
Me : Studious, of course.
Mum and Dad : ._.
Me : Whaaat?
Dad : Weeell... Wouldn't that be a tad bit boring?
Me : Why?
Dad : Because both of you would then have the same personality.
Me : Oh, so you're trying to say I'm boring? (glares)
Dad : NO! Not at all. (silence) Ah, my daughter is so pretty. (stares and smiles)
Me : -_-
See? Get what I mean? This serves for a mega sweat face.
-_-
Oh, and BTW,

Wow, am I actually sixteen already? I don't feel sixteen at all. I still feel like I'm six. D: There weren't any big parties, cool hotels and fancy dresses to celebrate my sixteenth birthday, but I'm happy, because I have awesome friends. :') AND FAMILY, YES! ♥
My sixteenth birthday finally made me realise I wasn't alone after all; I DO have friends. A WHOLE BUNCH OF THEM, in fact. My friends REALLY exist. I just didn't notice they were there all along and built walls between myself and them instead of bridges. One day before my birthday, I received Su Li's gift from Chai Hui in tuition. Right after tuition, I didn't expect Weng Jiu to give me a mad chio card made my Karu (thanks so so so much! :3) and signed by my old classmates. Mega touching moment whey. :') AND CO RA'S GIFT. SO CUTE AND ADORABLE! Pictures later. :P More surprises, BIRD JIU GOT ME A PRESENT. O_O I was like, "WTH? Are you serious?" LOL. Best friends betul, HAHAHAHAHA. ;) The hug he gave me almost made me weep (so bloody emotional, LMAO) 'cause it reminds me of my old classmates. I miss all of them! :'(((
First thing in the morning on the 5th of April, my loving grandparents gave me their gift. They never fail to give me one. It's my sixteenth one from them already and they're never late. So punctual, RIGHT? TAN JIL EE? :P Anyway, when I reached school, I didn't expect anyone to wish me because, after all, I'm the new kid. But surprisingly, many people wished me - even people I don't know. o_o It must be Facebook's fault. Facebook is really bad at keeping secrets. *rolls eyes* So, I went to CF that day with Yvonne and she gave me a letter. I really appreciate it, Yvonne. :) Don't worry if the letter is small; it means something big to me, that's all that matters. :] She even wanted the whole CF to sing me a birthday song; thank God I stopped her. It'll be so embarrassing. D:
When I went back to class, I saw Amanda giggling non-stop. I asked her why out of curiosity and she replied, "I'll smile even more later. You wait and see." LOL, funny answer. Wei Yin, Amanda and Mun Yeed started acting weird and they kept whispering behind me. Every time I turned to look at them, Wei Yin will say, "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT? DO YOUR OWN STUFF LAH!" LMAO. Later then only I found out that they were giving me a surprise! THEY MADE A FOLIO FOR ME (Ivan said it looks like our Business Studies project, LOL) AND GAVE ME A HEART-SHAPED BOX FILLED WITH FAMOUS AMOS COOKIES! :9 I should've known better, LOL. Another giga touching moment. :')
I slept for hours after I came home from school as I was very tired. Insomnia really kills. D: When I woke up, I waited for ages for Ong Shi Hong to finish hogging the computer before going on Facebook... to find my Wall flooded. Like, WHAT THE HECK? I THOUGHT I'VE CLEARLY STATED NOT TO FLOOD MY WALL. No one ever listens to me. *grumbles* Oh, well. First time celebrating my birthday with Facebook. Totally different feeling. Must pen down this moment.
FUYOH! 68 NOTIFICATIONS! :O
And urghhh... *faints*I couldn't finish thanking all the people who wished me because my mum was calling me to go downstairs to blow out the sixteen candles on birthday cake before they got completely burnt out. I made a wish hurriedly - not a specific one; quite general - before blowing out the candles. I hope my wish comes true. :]
After I ate a slice of my cake, I rushed back up to continue thanking my friends and guess what? MARY LER MESSAGED ME AND TOLD ME TO GO TO THE BACK OF MY HOUSE - HE WANTED TO PASS CCY'S PRESENT TO ME. Whoa. Like, WHOA. I quickly ran to the back of my house and tried my best to reach for the pinkish-purple plastic bag he had placed on the wall between our houses. I hate my mum for building that ultra tall wall. So troublesome. -_- Anyway, I didn't expect Ccy to give me anything 'cause I knew there's no way she could pass anything to me - she doesn't know my new house address. x) I had totally forgotten about the fact that Mary Ler could be the bridge between us 'cause he's her classmate and my neighbour, WTH. Sigh, Ccy. Smart as always. Thank God she's my friend. :] And Ccy, THANKS FOR YOUR PRESENT! :3 WO AI NI! 8D
Okay lah, I know you guys are so damn sien about me droning on and on without pictures, but I just HAVE to. I wanna reminisce this moment again the next time I read this post when I'm old and wrinkled so this post has to be really detailed. Fine, screw it. I'm so lazy to type already and besides, a picture speaks a thousand words, no? :)
You want pictures? You'll get them. But with more words. Muahahaha.
OH, OH.
DO YOU REMEMBER THE MYSTERY GIFT? ;))) THE ONE FROM MY SISTER ALL THE WAY FROM AUSTRALIA??? :D :D :D (Aiya, read my previous post if you still don't know lah, WTH. ==) THE PARCEL HAS BEEN FOLLOWING ME EVERYWHERE SINCE THE DAY IT ARRIVED! Like, when I'm at my desk doing my Add Maths homework; when I'm sleeping; when I'm walking up/down the stairs; when I'm lazing in the gazebo; when I'm watching TV or playing computer... WHEN I GO TO THE TOILET, LOL. That shows how attached we were. LMAO.
LOL, TOILET. xD
AXN HD. (Y)
Relaxing in my gazebo. And the mystery... IS FINALLY REVEALED! 8D
I tore open the parcel layer by layer (it took me hours!) and when I was done, I expected to see a teddy bear staring back at me in the box. Mana tau... IT WAS THIS!
I WAS SHOCKED. OUT OF MY LIFE. (So dramatic. -_-)
Lucy, remember you asked me whether I was happy to receive your gift?
When I was busy hugging the dog and basically suffocating it ('cause it reminds me of my beloved sister), I spotted something red sitting at the base of the box.
I laughed so freaking hard when I read the card. Like, seriously. I was laughing like mad. In my room. Alone. Wow. HAHAHAHAHA, THINKING ABOUT IT MAKES ME LAUGH! xD But why?
Shiver me timbers! It's your birthday! ARRRR!HAHAHAHAHAHA, PIRATE LANGUAGE! ROFLMAO TO THE MAX! LUCY, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY REMEMBERED I LOVE FACEBOOK'S PIRATE LANGUAGE! HAHAHAHAHA! TOTALLY DIDN'T EXPECT THAT WHEY, WTH! TROLOLOLOL!
Thank you SOOO much for your gift, Lucy. *weeps* It had certainly kept me on my toes for weeks before opening it. x) And the surprise was really so damn surprising!
The next thing was the card. Made by Karu with love(?), heh. I was so touched when I saw all the signatures. Many thanks to those who signed! :3 Yinneh's colourful braces is so chun(!!!) and OMG, Chai Hui's signature is so freaking cute! MONSTARRR!
Intricate design of the card - THANKS, KARU AND ALL THE KWANG HUA-RIANS! :DAfter getting all emotional about the card (LOL), I read the folio from the Sri KL-ians. Thank you so much guys for going through the trouble to bind (LOLOLOL) me a folio like the Business Studies project!
It's so pretty. And of course, ONE OF A KIND! :BI opened Yvonne's letter after that and read.
The words are extremely small in the picture above so I shall retype it for your pleasure. No need to thank me. (A)
ONG RU MIN,
Hey, I realised your name rhymes with thin!
I still remember walking on the sidewalk
Knowing your brother we started to talk
And yes, I have to admit
That it was one of those few moments I didn't want to quit on school
And on being a fool
The first time in a long time
I didn't have to mime
But have a listening ear
Yes, you are more than a peer
You truly have been my sister
IN CHRIST even in these four months
And that is better than any stunt
I could now laugh my head off
Without someone nearby faking a cough
I could now share my problems
And share and share and share till they build columns
In return of your many gifts
I would like to say thank you.
Simple yet elegant. I LOVE IT! THANKS, YVONNE! ;D BTW, my name rhymes with thin but sadly, I am not. LOL.
My grandparents' present came next. They've always liked to give us a pink envelope containing the birthday card with our house address on the outside. So formal; I like it. :) I now have sixteen cards and counting; I hope I don't die next year, LMAO.
Another pretty card! :D And an ang pau, WHOA! THANK YOU, WAI PO + GONG GONG! WO AI NI MEN! *hugs tightly*After that, I opened Co Ra's gift. I LOVE THE WAY SHE WRAPS THE GIFT!
AND OMG, YOU WILL NEVER IMAGINE WHAT WAS INSIDE! :O
A RING SHE MADE HERSELF AND A TRINKET! SO PWEEEEEETTY!And what's this I see?
And then, Ccy's gift. :] Or should I say... giftS? She actually gave me THREE presents, wow. :O There's no need for so many presents; I feel so embarrassed. D:
People sure do love giving me ang paus, LOL.I didn't notice the ball thingie at first but when I saw it and peered inside...
OMG, HARUHI SUZUMIYA!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ccy told me it was her one and only Haruhi Suzumiya - AND SHE GAVE IT TO ME. Now, she only has Nagato left. D: OMG, CCY! YOU WANT IT BACK OR NOT? I FEEL SO BAD. (Don't tell me you purposely want me to feel bad.)
I opened the MapleStory ang pau she gave me next. I really love the MapleStory ang pau! x3
Just before I opened the ang pau, there was this note at the back of it :
Obviously, there was no money inside... but a note! A message! From Ccy! 8D
TROLOLOLOLOL. MADE ME LAUGH LIKE SHIT AGAIN. HAHAHAHAHA. Oh, wait. Shit can't laugh. -_-Then, I peeled (yes, PEELED) open the blue box with the whale on it. Nice whale, LOL. It took me a lifetime to open it, phew. *wipes sweat*
When I finally got to the content, I doubled over laughing again. SHE GAVE ME A FROGGY RUBBISH BIN, AWW! I laughed because last year it was I who gave her one for her birthday; now it was her turn! HAHAHAHAHA, AWESOMENESS! (Y)
Next, Weng Jiu's present. I showed the present to my sister when we webcammed and she could guess it was a book straightaway. Damn smart.
A VERY CHUN BOOK, in fact. The minute I removed the wrapping paper and saw the cover...
Thanks, Weng Jiu! I appreciate it a lot! :D And your hug was very reassuring, thanks a trillion! :)
Last but not least, it was time to open the first present to reach my hands.
After placing the wrapping paper aside, the first thing I saw was this :
As I was about to open the envelope, I saw this at the back of the envelope :
Anyway, inside the envelope...
Thank God she didn't write her wishes in Mandarin or else I would've killed her. (A) When I was about to put it aside and move on to the contents of her present, I saw a tiny note behind the card.
Su Li gave me two funkayyy notebooks! :D
So epic - just like me. :PShe also gave me a drawing of an owl. Aww, stupid owl. x)
There was a another small package inside the present. OMG, a present INSIDE a present! :O
A note fell out from the small package and I saw this :
And so, I flipped it over and I saw a short message. SO MANY NOTES.
I turned the small package upside down and out tumbled three MEGA cute badges! :B
Kaveeta was absent on my birthday because she fell sick (so sad :/) but the next day, she gave me a birthday card! LOL, better late than never, right? HAHAHAHA. It was definitely another tera touching moment! x')
Thank you so much guys for your wishes, hugs and gifts. :') You guys have certainly made my day and to those who apologised for not getting me anything, DON'T! You as a friend are already a gift to me and what you've given me is far more precious than anything else in the entire universe - MEMORIES! :) I'm very glad to have such awesome friends like you guys! :') And as for my family, THANKS FOR GIVING ME A SICKENING SWEET SIXTEEN! x)
No big parties, no grand hotels, no fancy attire; just awesome family and friends. Best birthday ever.
