When Paige started dancing around I could not figure out what she was saying, but I took a video anyway because it was cute. Then we were at Mimi and Pops' house on Friday and were playing in their basement. Paige got out Mimi's yoga mat and was jumping on it saying "bouncy girl." I watched this video again last night and finally figured out that that was what Paige was saying. What "bouncy girl" has to do with "Ring Around the Rosie" I have no idea, but she seems to think they work well together. So if you're trying to figure out what Paige is saying, it's "Bouncy girl, bouncy girl, all fall down." Silly, bouncy girl.

Washing Mimi's Clothes
Friday the girls and I went to dinner at Mimi and Pop's house. Ben was working late and Pops was out of town, and Mimi knew I needed a break (Ben worked a lot last week) so she invited us over for dinner. She also had friends that came into town on Friday for the weekend, so there were 6 of us for dinner. The girls had a great time playing with Mimi and Pops' washer and dryer. I'm starting to think that our next washer and dryer might need to be front loading so that Paige and Virginia can help with laundry!
Dancing with Daddy
I remember dancing in the kitchen with my daddy when I was young. I remember doing it like this where I would stand on his feet and then when I was older and I would just stand on my own feet and dance with him. Of course, I didn't have a sister to come along and crawl through our legs. This is a new thing Ben has started doing with Paige and Virginia, but I imagine it is something they'll enjoy doing with him for years to come. I know I always enjoyed dancing with my daddy.

Another one just for fun
This video is actually from New Years Eve 2010, but it's a cute little video, so I thought I'd share it. We were sitting at the dinner table and Virginia was eating a hamburger bun and using it to try to make phone calls. She decided to call Mimi and Pops.
Week 2
This video isn't all that exciting to watch, but I think it's cute. Paige, Virginia and I went to the grocery store Monday morning between appointments with people at the house. The girls were so cute talking in the backseat that I pulled the camera out of my purse and took a couple of videos. I'm not exactly sure what they were talking about, but they were definitely keeping themselves entertained.

New Year, New Idea!
I've decided that for 2011 I'm going to post at least one video a week to this blog.
Today Paige, Virginia and I went to play at my friend Mollie's, aka Baby Tessie's, house. The girls had a great time! Mollie showed Paige and Virginia the cradle that she has (but doesn't use) for Tessie that her grandfather made before Mollie was born. They put their baby dolls and bears down for a nap in it and then Paige started to rock them. My favorite part of the video is when Virginia climbs into the cradle and Paige immediately went from saying, "Rocking babies," to "Rocking Sissy."
