Ross was invited to attend a second interview for General Mills tomorrow morning (8 am)! He was offered the interview on the spot, and the GM employee doing the scheduling (who was hired last year) said he had never seen that happen.
Pray for Ross!

Pumpkinland
We took Logan to a local pumpkin patch yesterday afternoon, and he loved it! He had fun looking at all the pumpkins, animals, and even the dirt. haha. Logan also had a blast running through the corn maze and crawling under the ropes into the "restricted areas." It was a great deal at $3 per person (children 2 & under FREE), and it turned out to be the most enjoyable Saturday we've had in a long time.

Ross was asked to fly to Wisconsin Nov. 6th for a second interview with Kohl's. The company will pay for his flight, room, and meals for Thursday afternoon through Friday evening. Ross is really excited to be able to see Wisconsin. I, of course, am jealous he gets a free trip. :-)
Although we will still be in Utah until Dec '09, all the internship interviews and discussions have made it feel like Ross will be graduating this semester! haha. We are getting anxious, but we are trying to enjoy this stage in our lives. It's only going to get busier and more complicated once we leave, so we definitely need to take advantage of the simplicity--even if it comes with being beyond broke. It will be exciting once we can actually afford to buy things (like food!), but we know there are great blessings associated with our current lifestyle. We have no choice but to rely on each other, and more importantly, on the Lord, and that has increased our faith in Him (and our relationship) tremendously. It's amazing to see how our Father in Heaven continues to provide the most incredible and unexpected blessings.

Help!
So I still can't figure out why comments can't be posted on our blog. (It's been this way since day one.) It looks like all the settings are correct to allow comments, but still no luck. Email me if you have any suggestions! Johnson.Stacia@gmail.com
October already??
Decorating Halloween cookies...Yum!
I can't believe it's been a month since the last post. Time passes so quickly!
Logan is 19 months now, and he knows almost the entire alphabet. His vocabulary has also grown tremendously, and it now includes words such as "doe gin" (Logan), "ostich" (ostrich), "shah shah" (Stacia), "chock cock" (chocolate) and "Yak" (Yak). He LOVES to play outside still, but prefers bushes, hills, trees, rocks, etc., to playing on slides.
Ross is continuing to work really hard in school and at his job, and he has an internship interview with General Mills in just a couple of weeks. If he passes, he will be flown to Arizona (I think...) for final interviews. We would absolutely love for him to be offered the internship, but it's all in the Lord's hands.
I'm keeping busy taking care of Logan, as well as working on my personal training certification (in addition to my class at UVU and Mary Kay). Not much else is new for me.
