My lil' boy...

...was wayyyy over due for a haircut.  So on 3.25.10 I took him back to Posh Pets in Pelham for a "summer cut."  I loved his long hair but it was starting to get matted (eventhough I combed his hair several times a week)...it was just time for a cut!  I am so proud of Kobi too because they said he didn't try to bite the scissors "not one time"...the past few times they charged me extra b/c he was being bad ;(  (He never acts up when I bath & comb him??)
~ Doesn't our little man look so handsome?? ~

Beth's Baby Shower

On March 20, 2010 I attended to my friend Beth's baby shower.  Beth & Josh are expecting their 1st baby in May.  We are so excited for them & cannot wait to meet baby Dax!

Bradley & I got him some pacifiers with his name on them! Aren't they just too cute?
We also got him a pacifier holder, a Frog robe with matching booties, Frog wash clothes, & a Tummy Time Mat.

Look at all of these gifts!!  Baby Dax is so spoiled already ;)
I think this picture is precious...Josh loved the baseball outfit!
{Josh played baseball at University of Montevallo...which is where I met him & Beth!}

FYI: Dax Thompson Alford was born on May 17, 2010, 7 lbs. 13 oz., 20 1/2 inches long.
{Yes, I know...I am wayyyyy behind on my posts}

Our LAST night in VeGaS!!

We didn't feel like doing much since we were all still exhausted so we decided to just walk across the street for dinner at Margaritaville.
It was so Yummy!!
We were able to catch one last Water Show at the Bellagio.
This was the last picture we took in Las Vegas.  We were headed back to our room for the night.
We had to be ready & waiting downstairs for our pickup at 4:00am to head to the airport!
We had so much fun in Las Vegas with our best friends.
We are so thankful to have grown up together & had the opportunity to share such wonderful experiences together.
We love ya'll!!!

*DAY 3 ... Touring the rest of the strip*

...THIS WAS A ROUGH DAY FOR US ALL...
We definitely paid for the partying we did the night before.  BUT we made the best of our last day in Las Vegas.  We walked and walked and...walked. We saw a lot, but we still haven't seen it all.

~ Ceasars Palace ~
~ Bellagio Water Show ~
~ The Strip ~
This is one of my absolute favorite pictures...the colors look so pretty!

Warning: This picture of us is horrible but it is the only one we took that day!
~ The Lion Habitat at MGM ~
Lyndsey & Daniel were really excited about this & really wanted to hold a baby lion, but there were none there!  I couldn't believe how big their paws were...and you should've seen the size of the bones they chew on, WOW!!
~ New York New York ~
I really wanted to ride the roller coaster in the front of this hotel...but got sick at the thought of it.

2nd Night ... Out on the Town!!!

WE DECIDED TO GO ALL OUT ON THIS NIGHT...
We started the night with dinner at Morton's Steakhouse.  The guys were so excited because we do not have a Morton's in the state of Alabama.  Let me say, they were the best steaks we have ever had!

Our next stop...
~ RIO ~
We rode the elevator up to the VooDoo Lounge...on the 51st floor.
Bradley is terrified of heights, the second he stepped onto the rooftop he turned right back around & went inside.  We finally got him to come out on the rooftop & he ended up having a pretty good time! The DJ's were awesome...we just danced our little hearts out(hehe!).
The view was AMAZING!!
 I thought the round gated area (that the lady is standing in) was pretty cool...it's a mini dance floor that was off the side of the building {excuse the purple haired lady, she was part of a Bachelorette party}.
Our last stop:
 PURE Nightclub @ Ceasars Palace
I will have to say that I have never paid a $30 cover(per person) but it was sooooo worth it, and you cannot go to Vegas without hitting a few nightclubs!
We had an absolute BLAST dancing & laughing.  I cannot even describe how much fun we all had!!
I think the guys really enjoyed their "Birthday Trip"(hence the middle picture)
...Back at the slot machines at 4:00am (which was 6:00am Birmingham time)!!
This was definitely the latest we have stayed out since the good ole' AUBURN days!!!
Lyndsey was so excited about her win...all $0.94 of it!!

*THE STRIP*

I LOVE this picture.
Thanks Lyndsey for teaching me how to take a picture like this.
~ The Mirage ~

The Forum Shops @ Ceasars Palace.
{Three levels of shopping...whew!!}
Bradley finally found the one store he had been searching for since arriving in Vegas.
TOURNEAU is the world's LARGEST watch store.
He bought his Breitling & U-Boat watches from store in Atlanta but has always wanted to come to this particular store in Vegas!  Bradley is obsessed with watches so this just made his day!!

*THE VENETIAN*

Another favorite of ours...it was absolutely beautiful!!!

Waiting in line for the Gondola Ride
{I know Lyndsey's eyes are closed but it's the only picture we took}
The Gondola Ride was so much fun!
It is Good Luck to kiss under the bridges ;)
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!
{Check out their synchronization..haha!}

After the Venetian, we ate lunch at First Food & Bar at
THE PALAZZO
As we rode the escalator down to the casino, this is what you see when you look up...
Palazzo Waterfall

This Tiger was huge...it is right outside of the casino (which has the BEST Pineapple & Vodka drink ever).  WAR EAGLE!!
