Old!

• He knows who is mama and dada are now.
• He’s so alert and we can finally get a smile out of him & even a good laugh
• rubs his eyes when he is tired
• sucks his whole fist
• blows bubbles along with his drool
• loves his baths!
• talks to us every morning. He has a lot to say about his dreams i guess?
• loves to be naked.
• hates it when i dress him (good thing he isn’t a girl it could be worse)
• starting to grab for toys and put him in his mouth
• he cries when there’s loud music (don’t understand this one, hates the organ at church)
• he sleeps a little better through the night only wakes up twice
• if he could have it his way he would sleep in our bed every night.
• loves to stretch when you pick him up after his nap
• kicks really fast when he’s excited or in the tub
• has THE cutest dimples when he smiles!
• sad to say it but i think he is definitely a “mama’s boy” 

Yes… our sweet baby boy already has picked up on the ladies… haha

This is Adorable Remi! She was born 3 weeks after Ryker. Mike and Sam are her parents and are really good friends with us. So they will be seeing  a lot of each other…

After holding out for so long… letting it go… its time to come off.

Sorry your mom just had to be a hair dresser…

Ta-Da! I know it looks short but he was loosing some of it on the sides and i just had to blend it in. 

A lot of people say he looks like these people… ha sometimes… his hair is just a little wacky…

Inside this beautiful landscaped home lives this special man…

It is my 95 year old Great Grandpa… Afton Marriott Thacker

Yesterday we took a drive up to Heber to visit him. I desperately wanted to get a picture with him and Ryker together!

I have really good memories of my Great Grandpa Afton. Mostly going to his house and celbrating his birthady with thousands of family members. Tons of cousins i’d only met when i came to his house.

His love for  singing and dancing. He has always had a  huge heart for music and now i know why my grandpa thacker was such a lover of music. Every time I came to see grandpa he would say “Hey there beautiful want to dance?” He has a great sense of humor and can make anyone laugh. He always says the funniest things. He loves loves being surrounded by “pretty girls”.

Grandpa had the best rhubarb plant and we’d always come and steal us some rhubarb. Man i love that stuff! 

He has the best stories about when he was in the Navy.( I wish i would have wrote them down!)

He has a huge heart and a great spirit. Unfortunately he is going slowly down hill and has Alzheimer's. 

Love this guy and i’m so glad i got the chance to go see him. I dont know  if  i’ll get another one.

This is the cute old man that lives in this house… I was sad to go especially with this ending picture… Love you graps so glad we got to come see you even though you wont remember , i will.  Love you grandpa!    

For fhe last monday my fam came over and we bbq’d and planted our garden (which we hope is plentiful)

We planted Corn, Sweet Corn, cucumbers, Strawberries, Peas, Honey Dew, Watermelon and of course Tomatoes!

Jakey Poo stayed inside to watch Ryker (and because he was  cold… little baby)

After a little while i had to come in and calm Ryker down… so we were stuck inside for a good little bit… just watching…

After our hard labors… we ate and played games and enjoyed one anothers company.

And by the end of the night… dad had taught Ryker a new trick… 

Thanks for all the help! We will for sure show our hard work off on the blog… for now… just waiting and weeding…
