Warning: PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!!
This Thanksgiving wasn't a "traditional" thanksgiving... We decided to take a little or should i say long...Road trip down to California.
Part One... Saturday
We stopped in Vegas...
Had to try the Cokes from around the world...
Stayed the night in Vegas... While we were there we got to hang out with these two cute kids! They let us crash at their place! Where we ended up going shopping and out to eat. Thanks for letting us hang out with you guys!
Monday We made it to Cali... and decided California Adventures is where we would go first!
Tuesday we went to DISNEYLAND!
After our adventures at Disneyland we decided to head down to Long Beach where Grandpa and Grandma Warburton are serving their mission. We had the opportunity to hang out with them over Thanksgiving. Wednesday we decided to roam around the beach & we rented these fun bikes.
After we saw the beach we made our way to Shoreline Village and explored the shops & ate at a little pizza joint.
Thursday- Turkey day... We went to the Aquarium
This is my favorite picture ever... I dunno whats gotten into Ryker but he pulls some pretty funny faces!
Picture OVERLOAD... i know... were almost done.
After the Aquarium we headed over to the church/ office building where Grandpa and Grandma do work.
The boys hanging out while dinner is being prepared... Reminds me of good 'ol times when we would play after our Christmas party at the church. Those parties no longer exist anymore :(
The mission president.
OUR FEAST!
After our delicious feast we all had a leaf to put in the basket of what we are thankful for. This year i put Eternal Families because this year there has been an addition for our family of 2.. we are now 3... Ryker has been the best thing ever the best part is that he is Forever. I'm also grateful for my lovely husband Ryan and i'm so very lucky he puts up with me. Grateful for my home, work & food on the table. Grateful i could be with my extended family for Thanksgiving. So glad we have great relationships with one another where we can enjoy one an-others company. It was so fun to just take it easy and play games, enjoy food & hang out together. There is a bit of emptiness to our family we definitely felt the loss of Jake but are so happy he is serving the Lord in Florida. Love ya bro.
Friday- we decided to set sail and head home after stoping our the famous Jacks Surf shop & hittin up the Ferrari store for a souvenir or two ;) (dreamin) we headed home and got home about 2:30 am. Craziness... But it was fun and so glad we were able to travel safely!
