The Cottles

Come on now... It was just yesterday and this guy was only 1... 

And a few day before that he was just born. 

Now I have a ttttterrrible 2 year old? For reals?

This kid has made these past 2 years so great. WE love him to death. He is Mr. Independent lately. Which is a good/bad thing. 

He has a great personality except when it comes to his tantrum throwing... Seriously?! Who teaches him to bang his head on everything when he is mad? 

He says a butt load of words such as: joking, cookie, broke it, iker (ryker), buzz, juice, scary, cold, stinky & I pooh... just to name a few... 

He recently has been practicin up on his hoops, I cant wait for itty bitty ball next year? Ryker can not wait for it to be warm. He LOVES outside. 

This boy is obsessed with Buzz & Woody can you tell? We got him Buzz & Woody sheets hoping this might intrigue him to sleep in his new big boy bed. 

He was pretty excited about his bed. And has since loved playing in his room more. 

He was made a special breakfast. One he loves... Cause he LOVES chocolate. Waffles with Chocolate chips, Eggs & Cheese and Hash-browns with Ketchup of course.

We decided we needed to make it a fun filled day. We made it to Chuck-e-Cheese's for the first time. Nana & Friends Bronco & Bridger joined us! 

He was a little hesitant & maybe even scared for the first couple rides. He warmed right up though! 

Ryk was pretty happy with his cake. He freaked out because I wouldn't let him take woody off... yet. 

This nugget was spoiled to pieces. Thank you to family and friends for making it a great one! 

I dont know why I dread Blogging anymore. Maybe because I'm so far behind and I'm way to lazy to get the pics off my camera/phone... 

So heres a big post....

Forgot to post these. We made a trip up to Temple Square with G&G Cottle, Lyss & Ash & Tys while they were in town. We took the tracks. It was freezing but always a good time. 

We got a new Calling... NURSeRY! We started out with 20 kids & the first day 17/20 came.Craziness. Since then they have split the class and we only have 10. I love it. 

Yes we are cool & do a slide. We supervise closely!

Me & Ryan FINALLY used our gift card to Johnson's Mill Bed & Breakfast for our Anniversary. It was so nice! No kid for a whole night. We did some shopping/lounging/movie's & eating good food.

 

  

Ry's been able to just manage the business lately rather than do the actual work. Which as been way nice. We get to see him more & he comes home a lot earlier! 

He got an itch to remodel the laundry room. And I love it! He also decided to spoil me with a new washer & dryer. Lucky girl I know!

 

Also he has gotten started on the Shed. Our garage it currently being taken over with tools and sheetrock ect...

And here's a little overload of the cutest boy on the block. He is quite the little entertainer around here. He loves to take showers, ULTRA obsessed with woody/buzz.

 

And I thought we were doing great avoiding sickness, trying to stay inside, clean hands ect... Nope. We got Croup. It was hard! Especially cause dad was out of town that weekend.

We celebrated a few birthdays within the month.. Shelbey, Colbey & Lexis

Happy Love Day was a success. Ryk put love into his Valentines we sent off to Elder Warburton in FL. 

I got my butt up and made some breakfast. & Later that day had a play date with cousin Luke. 

Recently Me & Ryan got into a little tuff one sunday morning. He always says how he can do anything... Even cut hair... blah blah blah. So I put him to the test. And not too shabby for the 1st time.

Its still a little hacked so dont look closely if I happen to run into you. He was to scared to put layers in it. ha. It was worth documenting. 

Other than this nugget keeping me busy, cleaning up after both boys 24/7. Playing and working hard at the same time. I've still got this baby girl on my mind. Dont you worry. I've been to a million fabric stores. 

My sewing machine finally gave out and is now in the repair shop as of now. Which makes for long boring days when Ryk is asleep. I'm still trying to decide on the Nursery. What color? Should I make her bedding?

Stop buying clothes... Its the worst habit and its only beginning! We have a name for now. We are contemplating a middle name. We will just decide that when she is here. Also I had a Dr. Appt yesterday he gave me some

great news & let me set an Induction date for April 10th! Woo! A whole 8 days early. Now i'm just praying she comes out as easy as Ryker did.

Also next week we are celebrating this nuggets 2nd birthday! Craziness. Bet you cant guess if it is going to be toy story themed? ha.
